Live service games keep players hooked for years. Some of the most played titles on PlayStation and Xbox are no surprise, but a few might catch you off guard.

Sony and Microsoft revealed the most played live service games on their platforms. This list doesn’t include single-player games or those that had a big launch and faded away. These are games that players return to regularly. The rankings are based on total playtime, showing which games keep people engaged the longest.

The games on the list come from different genres. There are shooters, sports games, and even a battle royale or two. Some are free-to-play, while others require a one-time purchase or a subscription. But all of them have one thing in common: they keep players coming back with fresh content, updates, and online competition.
