Tony and Ziva are back! And this time, they’re not chasing criminals – they’re the ones being chased. Paramount+ has just dropped the first teaser trailer for the upcoming NCIS spinoff, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The short teaser gives fans their first look at Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo back in action as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David.

In this new series, Tony and Ziva are living in Europe, raising their daughter Tali together. But things don’t stay peaceful for long. When Tony’s security company is attacked, the family is forced to go on the run across Europe. They must figure out who’s after them—and how to stay safe.

Along the way, Tony and Ziva have to learn to trust each other again. They’ve had a long, complicated history, and now they must work together not only to survive, but also to protect their daughter.

The teaser shows fast-paced action, danger, and even some humor. At one point, Ziva suggests calling their old NCIS teammate McGee, saying, “We should be calling McGee and say ‘handle this.’” Tony replies, “How’s that gonna go?” – hinting at the tense and unpredictable situations ahead.

The full trailer for NCIS: Tony & Ziva will air during the NCIS Season 22 finale on Monday, May 6 at 9/8c. The series itself will premiere in fall 2025 on Paramount+ and will have 10 episodes.

John McNamara, the show’s executive producer and writer, shared: “I’m incredibly grateful to CBS Studios and Paramount+ for the chance to plunge these two beloved characters into a dangerous, fun, romantic, exciting chase across Europe.”

He added that the show will tell one big story across all 10 episodes, full of spy games, action, and emotion.

Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony and is also an executive producer, said: “It was surprising how Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters… These characters are on the adventure of a lifetime. And hopefully, so is the viewer.”

NCIS: Tony & Ziva picks up after their last appearance in NCIS. Ziva had been thought dead, but she returned for one final mission. Then, she reunited with Tony and Tali in Paris. Now, the new series continues their story as they try to build a life together while facing new threats.
