Max has a lot of exciting new shows and movies coming this May. Fans can look forward to brand-new originals, returning favorites, and award-winning films. This month brings the debut of the Max Original drama Duster, the HBO Original film Mountainhead, and the two-part documentary Pee-wee as Himself.

Popular series like And Just Like That… and Conan O’Brien Must Go are also coming back with new seasons. Plus, don’t miss 100 Foot Wave and A24’s Oscar-winning film The Brutalist. There’s something for everyone to watch this May on Max!

100 Foot Wave Season 3

The third season of 100 Foot Wave follows big wave surfer Garrett McNamara, his family, and other top surfers as they chase massive waves around the world. The series expands beyond Nazaré, Portugal to new locations like Cortes Bank, Safi, Montaldo, and Hawaii’s Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational. With thrilling footage, it captures both the physical and emotional highs and lows of life in the extreme world of big wave surfing.

Mountainhead

A group of very rich friends come together while a big global crisis is happening. The movie stars Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, and Ramy Youssef, among others. It is written and directed by Jesse Armstrong, the creator of Succession, and will air on HBO.
