The Goon series first appeared in 1999 and while it never became a mainstream title, this horror series with comedy elements has become a beloved cult classic and one of the more popular titles in its genre.

The series had its 25th anniversary last year, and a four-part miniseries was launched as part of the celebrations. Now, the series is coming to a close.

The Goon: Them That Don’t Stay Dead #4 is coming out on April 30, 2025 and Dark Horse Comics has provided us with the first preview images.

Eric Powell is concluding his series as both the writer and the artist of this final issue in the miniseries. As the official synopsis reveals, we are coming to an end of the thrilling story, so here is what you can expect:

The finale of the Goon 25th anniversary miniseries, Them That Don’t Stay Dead! Dorothy Die and the man in the hat have played all their cards, but it’s the Goon who gets the final turn. And he’s about to show them all why he runs Nameless Town. Plus, Franky slaps a hairy Baptist with a sausage. Don’t miss it!
