Superman is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, if not the most anticipated one. Even those who are not fans of superhero movies know about this revitalization of the Superman story and how it is extremely important for the future of the DCU.

The movie will show Superman, trying to find balance between two sides of himself. On one side, he is an alien from the planet Krypton, and on the other, he was raised by a human family in the small town of Smallville, Kansas. The story will focus on how Clark struggles with who he really is, an alien with great powers or a human with strong values taught to him by his family.

He’ll have to deal with his feelings about his true origins while staying connected to the people and the world he grew up in.

According to the leaker, Superman is feeling upset because a lot of people are saying bad things about him on social media. There’s even a mean hashtag, #SuperShit, that really bothers him and makes him question himself.

But it turns out that the hate against Superman isn’t completely natural; it’s actually part of a bigger plan. In another dimension, Lex Luthor has created a world where hundreds of mutant monkeys are sitting at keyboards, posting tons of negative messages about Superman online.

Lex is using them to flood the internet with hate and turn the public against Superman on purpose.

The new Superman movie will come out in theaters around the world on July 9, 2025. It will be released in the United States on July 11, 2025. You can watch it in IMAX, ScreenX, and 4DX formats. This movie will be the first one in the new DC Universe story called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
