Preview: Krypto’s Journey Begins in ‘The Last Dog of Krypton’ #1

The first issue of Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton is set to release on June 18, 2025. Fans are looking forward to the start of this heartwarming and adventurous new series.

This story, written by Ryan North, follows Krypto, a lovable puppy from Krypton. One day, he will fight alongside Superman, helping to protect Earth from monsters, aliens, and supervillains. But for now, he’s just a happy pup, enjoying life with his family — Jor-El, Lara, and baby Kal-El.

Everything changes when a rocket test goes wrong. Krypto ends up lost in space, drifting away from his home planet. Eventually, he crash-lands on Earth, far away from everything he knows. All alone on this new world, Krypto must find his way.

The comic’s art is done by Mike Norton, with colors by Ian Herring. The cover art is created by Jae Lee, and the cover colors are by June Chung.

This debut issue promises a touching story about bravery, loyalty, and finding a new place to call home. Fans of Superman and heroic pets are sure to enjoy this new adventure!
