‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to Film in Italy According to Reports
According to film insider Daniel Richtman, the upcoming Marvel movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be filmed in multiple locations outside the United Kingdom, including Italy.
Richtman shared this information on his Patreon account, indicating that the film’s production will not be confined to New York City.
This international filming approach suggests that Brand New Day may follow a globe-trotting storyline, similar to Spider-Man: Far From Home, where Peter Parker’s adventures took him across Europe. In that film, Italy was one of the key locations, featuring memorable scenes in Venice.
Destin Daniel Cretton will direct the movie, and Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers will write the script. Production was expected to start in early 2025, but Tom Holland later confirmed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that filming will begin in the summer of 2025.
The movie is set to be released on July 24, 2026, as confirmed by Sony Pictures.
Zendaya will return as Michelle Jones in the film, Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas have joined the cast of, but their roles have not yet been confirmed.
