According to Latest Rumor, DCU’s ‘Titans’ Robin Will Be Damian Wayne

James Gunn’s DCU hasn’t even begun properly, yet everyone is discussing the future of the franchise and all the upcoming projects. And believe us, many have been announced, confirmed or speculated, so there is a lot to talk about.

One of the announced projects is a movie focused on the Teen Titans, one of DC’s most interesting and popular groups, which is still in early phases of development.

And while the future of the project is still a big enigma, a new rumor seemingly reveals which character will be the film’s version of Robin, and it sounds very, very interesting.

The rumor we have comes from DanielRPK, i.e., Daniel Richtman, who shared it via his Patreon account. So, what does the rumor actually say?

Well, we know that the Teen Titans are a diverse group and that one of the major heroes in the group is Robin. The series have given us several iterations of the group, which is why the question of which version of Robin is going to be featured is a very important and interesting one.

According to the rumor, the Robin in the movie will be Damian Wayne, which is in line with some other rumors related to The Brave and the Bold project.

Why is this important? Well, the fact that Damian could be the film’s Robin means that Batman’s world will already have a pre-established lore, as Damian Wayne is a character who came into the Dark Knight’s life much later.

This could open up several interesting storylines in the future, both related to Damian and the previous Robins. Also, aside from this, this rumor, if proven true, could have several important implications for the previous Robins (Dick, Jason, Tim, and potentially even Stephanie), who will now be standalone superheroes.

Of course, take this rumor with a grain of salt, but it is a very interesting one, which is why we wanted to share it with you.
