Switch 2 News Feed Gets Cleaner With New Account Features
If you use more than one account on your Nintendo Switch, you’ve probably noticed how messy the news feed can get. Posts often show up more than once, especially if you have accounts from different countries. Sometimes, the same news post appears several times in different languages.
Now, with the new Switch 2, Nintendo is making things better. The news feed is getting a small update to reduce all that clutter.
Thanks to a sneak peek shared by social media user OatmealDome, we can see that the Switch 2 will let you “select the news feed you would like to see.” This means you’ll be able to choose which account’s news you want to read, so you won’t get the same update multiple times.
[Switch 2] Each Nintendo Account now has a separate feed in the News app. On the Switch 1, news from all accounts were combined into one feed, which could make the app hard to navigate if you had accounts from different regions. (repost to fix image)

This isn’t the only change coming to the Switch 2. Nintendo is also making many small improvements to the system to make it easier and faster to use. One of these upgrades includes a better version of the eShop.
It will now run more smoothly, even when showing lots of games at once.
Nintendo is also sharing updates in new ways. The company recently launched a new mobile app called Nintendo Today!. This app gives exclusive news about the Switch 2, upcoming games, and even big projects like the new Legend of Zelda movie.
With all these updates, it looks like Nintendo wants the Switch 2 to offer a cleaner, faster, and more fun experience for players around the world.
