Hugh Jackman, better known as Wolverine, has finally spoken about the rumors that he might appear in the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday.

This news comes after it was confirmed that some of his old X-Men co-stars like Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn will be returning to their roles in the film.

Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who also made Avengers: Endgame. The screenplay is written by Stephen McFeely. The movie will star Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, along with a big group of famous actors such as Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, and many others.

When Hugh Jackman appeared on The View, he was asked if he would be in Avengers: Doomsday. Jackman did not say yes or no. Instead, he made a joke. He said, “I really can’t say much. Except, when you say ‘appear,’ more like dominate and destroy every other char– I’m kidding,” Jackman joked. “And it becomes a one-man show!”

He added, “No, I really have nothing to add. And if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add. So that was uncool. But thanks for asking!”

So, for now, we don’t know if Hugh Jackman will join the Avengers: Doomsday cast. But his words have made fans excited and curious to see if Wolverine will appear in the movie and what he might do.
