The official main trailer for ‘Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time’ premiered online. The footage depicts Class 3-E’s final efforts to assassinate their tentacled teacher Korosensei while grappling with emotional bonds formed over the school year. Key sequences show coordinated attacks using anti-sensei BBs and improvised weapons.

The film serves as a sequel compilation, adapting remaining manga arcs into a feature-length narrative. It focuses on the students’ growth from misfits to skilled assassins protecting Earth. Voice actors Jun Fukuyama as Korosensei and Mai Fuchigami as Nagisa Shiota reprise their roles from the anime series.

Production studio Lerche handled animation, maintaining the series’ blend of action, comedy, and drama. Director Seiji Kishi returns, incorporating new scenes exclusive to the film. The story concludes Korosensei’s mach 20 speed threat and the class’s ultimate decision.

The trailer features remixed soundtrack elements by Naoki Sato, emphasizing themes of mentorship and farewell. It garnered over 500,000 views within hours across Japanese platforms. Fans noted enhanced animation quality for high-speed chase sequences.

The movie adapts Yusei Matsui’s manga, which ran from 2012 to 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The original anime aired two seasons in 2015 and 2016, earning high ratings for character development. This project marks the franchise’s return after live-action films in 2015 and 2016.

Distribution partners include Aniplex and Toho for domestic release. International licensing details remain pending, following Netflix’s handling of prior seasons. The production committee confirmed adherence to the manga’s ending.

The trailer highlights student backstories, including Karma Akabane’s rivalry and Kaede Kayano’s revelations. It positions the film as a definitive closure for the series. Advance ticket sales begin in January across Japan.

This release coincides with renewed interest in shonen adaptations featuring unconventional teachers. The franchise sold over 25 million manga volumes worldwide. The movie expands on themes of redemption and second chances explored in the source material.
