‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Season 4 Unveils First Trailer for Culling Game Part 2
Jujutsu Kaisen has finally unveiled the first trailer for Season 4, which continues the adaptation of the “Culling Game” arc. This exciting update follows a lengthy silence after the conclusion of Season 3 on March 27, 2026, providing fans with their first glimpse of what lies ahead for the series.
The studio has confirmed that Season 4 is currently in production. The new trailer highlights Part 2 of the “Culling Game” storyline, which is anticipated to bring the arc closer to its climax. While MAPPA has yet to announce a specific release date, this reveal assures fans that the project is actively progressing.
The trailer was showcased during a livestream and quickly circulated online, offering fans a sneak peek at the intense battles that await. The official social media accounts for Jujutsu Kaisen also teased the new season with the message: “Why can’t you guys just live normal lives!!” This line encapsulates the chaotic and violent essence of the upcoming narrative, where sorcerers are thrust into a perilous survival game.
Season 4 will continue under the direction of Shouta Goshozono as Chief Director, with Takeru Satoh serving as episode director. Character design responsibilities are handled by Yousuke Yajima, Hiromi Niwa, and Souta Yamazaki. The production team remains closely linked to MAPPA’s established staff, ensuring visual consistency with previous seasons.
The “Culling Game” arc is known for being one of the most intense segments of the Jujutsu Kaisen storyline. It revolves around a battle royale-style system where Jujutsu sorcerers must fight each other under strict regulations until only one survives. This arc is characterized by its rapid pacing, numerous character confrontations, and high death toll, making it one of the most chaotic parts of the series.
While the trailer is the most significant update thus far, fans still lack a confirmed release window. However, the production timeline indicates that Season 4 could arrive sooner than the gaps between previous seasons, which often left viewers waiting nearly two years.
In addition to the anime news, a new game project based on Jujutsu Kaisen was also announced during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct. Titled Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton, the game is being developed in the style of Vampire Survivors. It is set to release on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The game description states: “Players battle wave after wave of cursed spirits while competing against up to seven rivals in fast-paced online multiplayer matches. Choose from 20+ playable characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen universe and use simple movement-based controls with automatic attacks, where success depends on strategic positioning and timing.”

The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, along with its films and compilation releases. The manga and sequel series can be found through Viz Media and Manga Plus, continuing the story beyond the anime adaptation.
