Nostalgia has been steadily rising around Bikini Bottom for several months, especially since rumors began circulating that LEGO might be revisiting one of Nickelodeon’s most cherished properties. For collectors who fondly remember constructing tiny brick versions of the Krusty Krab, the prospect of a full return has seemed like a distant dream, particularly with the license being dormant for over a decade.

That silence is officially coming to an end. If the rumors hold true, this will mark the first LEGO ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ set since 2012, a long gap that has seen fans creating their own fan-made versions of Conch Street in the meantime.

Now, the wait appears to be over, as a widely circulated social media post has unveiled the first images of the set, confirming a price of $220. The set, reportedly numbered 11386 and titled ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: Conch Street,’ is expected to be accompanied by a release from the BrickHeadz line, with both slated to hit shelves on September 1, 2026.

The scale of the build is generating significant buzz. Reports suggest that the Conch Street set will feature the three main characters—SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward—as minifigures, along with Gary the snail, all constructed from a total of 1,794 pieces. This means the set will contain roughly four times as many bricks as the last Bikini Bottom sets LEGO released back in 2009 and 2012.

Naturally, the pineapple takes center stage. SpongeBob’s iconic home at 124 Conch Street is making a comeback, having previously appeared in three earlier ‘SpongeBob’ sets released in 2006, 2009, and 2012. Squidward and Patrick’s homes are expected to complete the street, allowing fans to recreate the show’s most recognizable block piece by piece.

In addition to the houses, extra details are reportedly integrated into the design. The leaked build is said to include SpongeBob’s underwater vehicle, the Boatmobile, along with a small jellyfish field that references SpongeBob’s favorite pastime. Early attention has also been drawn to the minifigure sculpting, with Patrick reportedly featuring a rounder, more expressive shape that some fans believe aligns more closely with the animated version than previous LEGO attempts.

For a fandom that has dedicated years to crafting homemade tributes to Bikini Bottom, witnessing LEGO return with this level of detail feels like a momentous occasion rather than just a simple rerelease. The pineapple, the Easter Island head, and Patrick’s rock have long existed in fans’ imaginations, and now they are on the verge of becoming tangible collectibles.

Would you build the entire street, or are you reserving your bricks just for SpongeBob’s pineapple?
