Celebrity internet sleuthing has become a popular pastime, with fans piecing together clues from social media to uncover hidden connections between stars. Few relationships attract as much scrutiny as those involving exes who have moved on publicly, especially when one is engaged to a high-profile figure like Harry Styles.

This past weekend, Channing Tatum found himself at the center of speculation after fans connected unusual dots regarding an anonymous Instagram account. What began as mere internet chatter quickly escalated into a viral theory, prompting the actor to address the situation directly.

Tatum has denied any involvement with a burner Instagram account accused of posting negative comments about his ex-fiancée, Zoë Kravitz. The ‘Magic Mike’ star shared his response on Instagram Stories on September 21, just days after the rumors began circulating.

The account in question, named Nonya Bidness, reportedly commented on posts featuring Kravitz and her fiancé, Harry Styles, including a remark that stated, “Just here for the hate.” Fans grew suspicious when they noticed the account had only one follower—Tatum’s verified Instagram account.

In his response, Tatum expressed disbelief, writing, “Yo, I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time. F***in hilarious.” He also dismantled the theory that had fueled the speculation.

Addressing the follower detail, Tatum questioned why he would follow a burner account if he wanted to remain anonymous. “Also, why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on,” he stated, concluding his message with a clarification about his online presence.

“But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account: @channingtatum,” he added, as reported by TMZ, which first covered the denial. Shortly after the theory gained traction, Tatum’s official account and the Nonya Bidness account reportedly unfollowed each other, and the mystery account was deactivated.

In addition to the initial comment that sparked the theory, the account had left several other pointed remarks about Kravitz’s relationship history and her current romance with Styles. One comment referenced Tatum’s past marriage to Jenna Dewan, while others commented on Kravitz’s engagement to Styles, confirmed back in April 2026 after roughly eight months of dating.

The account didn’t stop there, with even Jennifer Lopez receiving a stray comment from whoever was behind the profile. However, none of this provides concrete proof linking the account back to Tatum himself, despite the circumstantial evidence that initially fueled the speculation.

Tatum and Kravitz’s relationship has remained a point of fascination for fans since their split, largely due to their once-public affection. The pair first connected while working together on ‘Blink Twice,’ Kravitz’s feature directorial debut, which Tatum starred in.

Kravitz has previously spoken fondly about their time together, telling Elle in 2025 that she cares for Tatum deeply and has no regrets about their relationship. With Tatum now denying any involvement in the burner account controversy, it remains to be seen whether the internet will fully move on from the theory or continue searching for more clues.
