‘General Hospital’ Season 64 Episode 12 Release Date, Time and Where to Watch

Port Charles is entering a gripping week, and the upcoming episode of ‘General Hospital’ is set to unravel several intriguing plot threads. According to YouTube TV listings, this episode will air on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, amidst a storyline that has fans buzzing about Nina’s legal issues and Tracy’s enigmatic plans.

If you’re looking to find out when and how to watch this episode, the good news is that ‘General Hospital’ follows a consistent schedule. Here’s everything you need to know about the air date, streaming options, and what spoilers hint at for this episode.

The episode is scheduled between the September 22 and September 24 episodes, aligning with the show’s typical weekday airing pattern. One weekly breakdown identifies the September 23 episode as number 16051, highlighting that the soap’s episode count far exceeds what most streaming services display.

This discrepancy explains why fans often encounter conflicting episode labels online. ABC coverage was still referring to the current run as Season 63 in early September, even though other tracking systems had already updated to Season 64. Regardless, the episode remains the same, making the air date more significant than the label.

‘General Hospital’ has a long-standing history, having premiered on April 1, 1963, and it continues to be the longest-running American drama currently on air.

The air time is straightforward. The soap airs on ABC every weekday at 2 PM ET and 1 PM CT, providing East and Central viewers with an afternoon slot to enjoy the show.

Viewers in the West are also accommodated, as the network follows a four-zone schedule, with the show airing at noon Mountain and 11 AM Pacific. This means Wednesday’s schedule remains consistent with any other weekday.

While soap schedules can occasionally shift, the show is sometimes preempted for special ABC News coverage or significant sporting events, so it’s wise to check local listings in advance. Smaller markets may see their affiliates adjust the airing time.

If you miss the live broadcast, you can still catch the episode. Viewers can stream the latest installment the day after it airs on Hulu or through the official ABC website and mobile app. For those with busy afternoon schedules, this next-day option has become a popular way to stay updated.

Cord-cutters have additional options as well. Hulu Live TV includes ABC in its package, and Fubo also carries the ABC affiliate, allowing viewers to watch live without a traditional cable subscription.

The network’s website is also worth exploring for extras. ABC.com features recent episodes along with short sneak peek clips and cast highlights, which can be helpful if you want a glimpse of the drama before diving into a full episode.

In this episode, a key moment features a familiar duo strategizing together. Sonny and Ric are set to hold a classic strategy session, while Tracy prepares to recruit a new ally. This timing is crucial as Nina faces serious legal challenges related to Jack Brennan’s disappearance, prompting Sonny to consult Ric as her situation creates complications for those around her.

Drew is also lurking in the background. As Chase and Willow spend time together, Drew will be observing closely, seemingly taking notes for future reference. One spoiler outlet suggests that Chase and Willow may seek comfort in each other, with Willow checking in on how Chase is coping as his relationship with Brook Lynn deteriorates.

There are also smaller developments to keep an eye on. Trina faces a significant decision, while Kai receives a potentially tempting offer. Additionally, there are whispers of a new character named Monet making her debut on September 23, followed by a shocking moment for Jordan. Spoiler information can change, so consider that detail tentative until the episode airs.

With Sonny, Ric, and Tracy all scheming in different directions, this Wednesday could mark a pivotal moment in the unfolding drama. Will Tracy’s new ally assist Brook Lynn or complicate matters further, and is Drew about to leverage what he observes between Chase and Willow for his own advantage?
