Milan Fashion Week is known for transforming its biggest stars into runway models for a memorable night, and this year’s Vogue World event fully embraced that tradition. Set in one of Italy’s most iconic architectural landmarks, the evening combined high fashion with genuine spectacle, drawing actors and musicians from the audience onto the runway.

Among those who graced the runway was Adria Arjona, who was photographed mid-stride in a chic charcoal coat dress as she navigated the historic arcade for Vogue Mexico’s coverage of the event. Over the past year, the actress has been steadily building an impressive portfolio in Hollywood, making her appearance at this major fashion showcase feel like a natural progression in her career.

Vogue World: Milano took place on September 22 inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a historic shopping arcade located between Piazza del Duomo and La Scala. The fifth edition of this traveling fashion spectacle brought together actors, musicians, and models from across the industry to celebrate Italian craftsmanship, with Arjona joining a star-studded lineup that included Jennifer Lopez, Dakota Johnson, Naomi Campbell, and Cardi B.

Arjona’s runway appearance comes as she prepares for what could be the most significant role of her career. She is set to join James Gunn’s DC Universe in ‘Superman: Man of Tomorrow,’ the sequel to last year’s ‘Superman’ reboot, reuniting her with Gunn and producer Peter Safran, who previously gave her a break in 2016’s ‘The Belko Experiment.’ Although her specific role has not been officially confirmed, reports suggest she will portray Maxima, the cosmic alien queen from the comics.

Regardless of the role, Arjona has emphasized the intensity of her preparation. “I have muscles that I’ve never had in my life. I’m training two to three hours a day on a crazy diet,” she shared in comments to Screen Rant, expressing her excitement to work again with the team that first helped her establish her career. ‘Man of Tomorrow’ is slated to hit theaters on July 9, 2027.

In addition to her role in ‘Superman: Man of Tomorrow,’ Arjona is also set to star alongside Michael B. Jordan in his directorial reimagining of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ for Amazon MGM Studios. She will take on a role originally intended for Taylor Russell, who exited due to creative differences. This film, based on Norman Jewison’s 1968 classic, is scheduled for release on March 5, 2027, and features a cast that includes Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, and Danai Gurira.

Beyond these two major projects, Arjona recently starred in A24’s horror thriller ‘Onslaught’ directed by Adam Wingard, and she has another project, the erotic thriller ‘Scorn,’ in development alongside Kingsley Ben-Adir. This diverse range of roles, spanning horror, prestigious remakes, and a major superhero franchise, builds on a filmography that already includes notable performances in ‘Andor,’ ‘Hit Man,’ and ‘Blink Twice.’

With a demanding physical transformation for ‘Man of Tomorrow’ and a high-profile collaboration with Michael B. Jordan on ‘The Thomas Crown Affair,’ Arjona’s appearance at Vogue World marks a pivotal moment in her career.
