Few Hollywood brand partnerships feel as natural as Jennifer Lawrence and Longines. The Oscar-winning actress has represented the Swiss watchmaker in campaigns for years, and her effortless style aligns perfectly with the brand’s enduring message that elegance is an attitude. This collaboration has resulted in some of the most memorable luxury advertising in recent years.

Lawrence has held the title of Longines Ambassador of Elegance since 2022, when her first official images, captured by Dan Jackson, showcased her in a black dress adorned with a Master Collection watch. The relationship has evolved steadily, featuring a Mini DolceVita campaign in 2023 and a boutique appearance in New York in 2025. Last year, she also starred in the campaign for the redesigned PrimaLuna, posing solo within an empty opera house.

Recently, a new set of images has caught attention online. In one shot, she dons a black shirt and trousers with the watch on her wrist, while another features her in a tailored dark blazer set against a warm wood-paneled room, complete with a lamp and a burl wood side table.

These new shots stand out for their simplicity. There are no extravagant set pieces or dramatic gowns—just clean tailoring, soft lighting, and a watch that subtly anchors each frame. Her golden hair cascades in soft waves with curtain bangs, creating a polished yet relaxed effect.

This tone resonates with how Lawrence discusses the brand. In an exclusive interview with Watchonista, she expressed her preference for watches that serve as “functional jewelry,” noting that a watch enhances a polished, professional appearance while also being beautiful. She has consistently described Longines pieces as effortless accessories that transition seamlessly from casual daytime wear to formal events.

The timing aligns with a significant moment for the brand. This summer, Longines relaunched its flagship Master Collection, which debuted in 2005, alongside a ‘Home of Elegance’ campaign. This initiative brought together Lawrence with fellow ambassadors Kate Winslet, Henry Cavill, Eddie Peng, Zhao Liying, and Yosh Yu.

The redesign features new models, including the collection’s first monopusher chronograph, the Chrono Monopusher, which boasts a 41mm polished stainless steel case paired with a concave bezel. Updated 3-hand models range from 30mm to 41mm. This nod to history is intentional, as Longines was founded in Saint-Imier in 1832 and released its first monopusher chronograph as early as 1911.

Lawrence’s off-screen endeavors are equally busy. She co-founded the production company Excellent Cadaver in 2018 with producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi, and its slate includes ‘Causeway,’ ‘No Hard Feelings,’ and ‘Die, My Love.’ The latter, directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-starring Robert Pattinson, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025 and hit US theaters on November 7 of that year.

Her upcoming projects are also captivating. According to Numéro, Lawrence has several films in the pipeline, including ‘The Wives,’ Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Burial Rites,’ and Martin Scorsese’s ‘Sinatra.’ This mix of auteur-driven projects aligns with the direction she has taken as both a performer and producer.

The appeal of this partnership lies in its authenticity. Longines has commended Lawrence for infusing her unmistakable presence into the brand, and the latest images illustrate why this collaboration has endured. She appears at ease, and the watch never overshadows the moment, which is precisely what luxury advertising often struggles to achieve.
