Target has been transforming its beauty aisles into a cultural phenomenon, launching a rebranded studio concept that feels less like a big-box retailer and more like a curated beauty destination. This kind of retail reinvention is often lacking in star power, but the launch has successfully attracted notable figures.

The new Beauty Studio concept debuted earlier this month in over 600 stores, introducing prestige and trendy indie brands that were previously absent from Target’s offerings. As celebrations continue throughout the fall, the brand has strategically paired the launch with recognizable personalities to enhance its visibility.

Actress Mckenna Grace attended the Target Beauty Studio Celebration Event, where she was photographed among the new displays by Getty photographer Presley Ann. Her appearance aligns with the studio’s broader rollout, which now features more than 1,600 products from 90 brands, with over two-thirds being entirely new to Target’s shelves.

The event coincided with nationwide in-store celebrations, including Saturday sessions from noon to 4 p.m. at various locations. Amanda Nusz, Target’s senior vice president of merchandising for essentials and beauty, has described the concept as a space where shoppers can replenish their favorite products while discovering new names in the beauty industry, part of a broader initiative that has added brands like Dyson, Sunday Riley, St. Tropez, and Boy Smells to Target’s lineup.

Grace’s appearance comes at a time when her acting career is thriving. Earlier this year, she was featured in ‘Scream 7’ and returned to voice work in ‘Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie.’ She is also set to star in ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,’ which hits theaters on November 20.

In addition, Grace has been cast in Netflix’s live-action ‘Scooby-Doo’ series, adding another major franchise to her growing portfolio. She also stars alongside Green Day and Mason Thames in the road trip comedy ‘Nimrods,’ rounding out a diverse slate of upcoming projects that includes horror, animation, franchise blockbusters, and streaming originals.

This range showcases how far Grace has come since her early days as a child actor. Often recognized as one of the most prolific young talents of her generation, she continues to take on more mature roles while balancing high-profile franchise work.

The Target Beauty Studio launch emphasizes the founders behind its newest offerings, many of whom have personal stories connected to their products. Celebrity makeup artist Kim Baker, founder of Glamazon Beauty, created the brand’s signature Roadmap system to simplify shade matching after witnessing customers struggle to find suitable products for their skin tones.

Other founders featured in the studio’s rollout include Buff Beauty’s Katia Beauchamp, Peta Jane Beauty founder Peta Murgatroyd, and SARELLY co-founders Anna Sarelly and Rémi Martini. This blend of new and expanding indie brands is central to how Target is positioning the studio concept, treating it as a genuine beauty discovery destination rather than just a product refresh.

For Grace, this appearance provides a lighter, brand-focused moment amid a busy year filled with film and television commitments. With franchise blockbusters, streaming originals, and now a high-profile retail event tied to one of the year’s major beauty relaunches, she is clearly making her mark across various facets of pop culture.

With ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ still on the horizon and her Netflix ‘Scooby-Doo’ series yet to debut, this Target appearance is likely just one of many highlights in what is shaping up to be one of Grace’s busiest years yet.
