At the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards held on Sunday, September 27, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Cameli made a statement in a denim ensemble by Ferragamo. Reports highlighted a utilitarian blue shirt with patch pockets paired with washed straight-leg jeans, identified as a Ferragamo FW25 Ready-to-Wear piece by Just Jared. Variety captured a moment of him posing on the carpet with his hands clasped.

Yahoo News described his outfit as an all-denim Canadian tuxedo, with another outlet drawing comparisons to Justin Timberlake’s iconic denim look from the early 2000s. He will portray Brom Bones, a pivotal character in the supernatural love triangle.

Lindsey Anderson Beer is directing the film and adapting her debut novel, set to be published by Putnam in fall 2027. The search for the character of Ichabod Crane is still ongoing, leaving the triangle incomplete. Cameli’s recent credits include ‘Until Dawn’ and ‘The Alto Knights.’

Fashion critics responded positively to his look. Jingletree expressed admiration for his denim Ferragamo ensemble, while a Spanish-language fashion outlet praised his understated style as a refreshing contrast to the typically extravagant MTV fashion.
