‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence Dazzles in Soft Blue Slip Dress at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week Show

Fashion Month always reserves its most glamorous moments for the end, and this year is no different. Paris Fashion Week has arrived as the final segment of the season, with stars gathering to enjoy front-row seats at iconic houses like Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Valentino, and Chanel. Dior’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, curated by Jonathan Anderson, marked one of the most significant days on the fashion calendar.

Anderson’s influence has transformed Dior into a star-studded spectacle each season. Appointed as creative director in June 2025 after Maria Grazia Chiuri’s departure, he is the first designer at Dior to oversee menswear, womenswear, and couture. Attendees at this show were even treated to a unique invitation gift: two wénwán walnuts in a box, accompanied by a personalized note.

One name consistently gracing the front row is Jennifer Lawrence. A Dior ambassador since 2012, she became the face of the Joy by Dior perfume in 2018.

At the Dior Summer 2027 women’s show, Jennifer Lawrence turned heads in a pale blue slip dress featuring delicate lace trim and a flowing skirt. She accessorized with dark sunglasses, wore her long, wavy hair down with bangs, and carried a small light-colored bag.

Marie Claire described her outfit as a chic blue nightgown-style dress, which stood out among the varied styles of other guests. Greta Lee opted for pink capri pants, Rosalía dazzled in an asymmetrical black gown, and Anya Taylor-Joy combined a sheer shirt with a pencil skirt.

This look aligns with Lawrence’s evolving style at Dior’s front row. Over the seasons, her outfits have ranged from tailored to casual. At Dior’s Fall/Winter show in 2024, she sported a charcoal three-piece suit paired with sunglasses and a Lady Dior bag, with sunglasses becoming her signature front-row accessory.

Her recent appearances reflect the same versatility. At Anderson’s womenswear debut in October 2025, she wore a blue button-down under a black vest with a beige trench. In January 2026, she broke the Couture Week dress code by attending his couture debut in a white tank top and jeans. Compared to those looks, the soft blue slip dress presents a more delicate aesthetic.

Lawrence has seamlessly blended into Anderson’s vision for Dior. During the press tour for ‘Die, My Love’, she showcased several Dior pieces, including looks from his Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. ‘Die, My Love’, directed by Lynne Ramsay, co-stars Robert Pattinson and follows a couple relocating to rural Montana after their first child’s birth.

Her fashion choices have evolved alongside her film career. Lawrence has donned Anderson-designed Dior at numerous events, including the ‘Die, My Love’ premiere in New York. For fans, the Paris show represents another chapter in one of fashion’s longest-running star partnerships.

Anderson has also been busy this year. His Dior Men’s Spring 2027 show in June was rescheduled to 9 a.m. due to a record-breaking heat wave, and he has been working to synchronize the men’s and women’s collections. His fringed jackets and crinkled checked raincoat echoed styles from the women’s cruise collection presented in Los Angeles.
