Marvel Studios has been generating excitement for ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ through a consistent stream of posters, teasers, and promotional art. While much of the focus has been on Doctor Doom, the marketing also hints at the film’s various settings. Recently, a new collection of images has provided fans with another glimpse at the film’s locations.

This marketing strategy began earlier this year, showcasing four bases associated with Marvel’s most prominent teams: Avengers Headquarters, the X-Mansion, the Baxter Building, and Wakanda. A later display shared by Marvel Japan replaced the Avengers “A” logo, positioned in front of what appears to be a window in Doom’s Latverian castle, with logos representing the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Wakandans.

The latest images were posted by Cosmic Marvel on X, crediting the fan account I_Am_Not_Doom, which referred to them as the first posters for the locations in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. This post garnered over 45,000 views. The images depict two posters framed behind glass, both illuminated by the distinctive green glow that has characterized Doom-themed marketing.

The first poster features a futuristic city skyline within what resembles a Black Panther mask outline, indicating Wakanda. The second poster displays a tower adorned with an emblem that looks like the Fantastic Four’s “4” logo, along with a Marvel Studios logo at the bottom, suggesting the Baxter Building. However, the exact locations of these posters remain unclear, and Marvel has not officially announced them in the sources reviewed.

Wakanda is anticipated to be a significant setting in the film. Previous marketing has emphasized the nation’s impressive architecture and skyscrapers, implying that the action could return there, similar to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. This time, however, Wakanda will have allies from the underwater nation of Talokan, following the alliance formed between Shuri and Namor in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

The teasers have also highlighted Wakanda. A fourth teaser for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ showcased King M’Baku, portrayed by Winston Duke, encountering the Thing, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, in a desert setting. Letitia Wright’s Shuri, who has taken on the Black Panther mantle, appears in new armor, while Namor is seen alongside her in an updated costume.

The Baxter Building, known as the headquarters of the Fantastic Four, was introduced on screen in 2025 with ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’. Its presence in the marketing suggests that the story will explore the Fantastic Four’s universe before the team arrives in Earth-616. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that multiple characters from various teams will gather at the building during the film.

Feige mentioned that the Baxter Building set would accommodate far more characters than the four or five present in the standalone Fantastic Four movie. This aligns with the film’s premise, which involves heroes from three distinct universes on a collision course. The cast features Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach as part of the Fantastic Four.

The film is set to premiere on December 18, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with Robert Downey Jr. portraying Doctor Doom. It will be released in Infinity Vision, a certification for Premium Large Format theaters that promises large screens, vibrant images, and exceptional sound quality. Tickets for these screenings went on sale on July 20, alongside the first trailer, and ticket sales expanded to cinemas everywhere in August.

Following ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ is scheduled for December 17, 2027. Marvel’s promotional campaign has heavily featured Doom through numerous posters, while location art like this suggests that the studio is reserving more details for later in the promotional cycle. Fans are eagerly analyzing every background element, from the green glow to the shapes of the buildings.

With approximately two and a half months until the release, more reveals are expected. A second trailer, additional posters, and possibly more location art could provide further insight into how the multiverse conflict unfolds. For now, these two glowing green posters have given fans something new to dissect.
