Mikey Madison Dons Sharp Navy Tailoring in Paris for ‘The Social Reckoning’ Press
Few awards-season winners retreat from the limelight as completely as Mikey Madison did following her triumph in ‘Anora’. After her win, she mostly shunned events and front-row seats, and her absence from social media adds to the rarity of her public appearances during the current press tour.
This tour has become a platform for her unpredictable fashion choices. On the first day of press, she sported a brown ensemble featuring a fitted blazer and a short skirt, with her hair elegantly swept up. At the UK gala screening in London on Sept. 29, she dazzled in a butter-yellow Standing Ground couture gown, and in Paris, she showcased an embellished black Dior Haute Couture gown adorned with floral embroidery.
Now, there’s a fresh look to discuss. Film Crave shared two photos of Madison on X on Oct. 3 during the press for ‘The Social Reckoning’, crediting her stylist Andrew Mukamal. The outfit consists of a fitted navy short-sleeved jacket-style top with a notched collar, covered buttons down the front, and a peplum hem, paired with a black asymmetric skirt that rises at the front.

She completed the look with sheer black thigh-high stockings and navy peep-toe stiletto heels, allowing her long dark hair to cascade in loose waves. Minimal accessories included a delicate bracelet and drop earrings. While the designer remains unnamed, the structured shoulders and cinched waist highlight the tailoring.
This look marks a distinct shift from her appearance at the Paris premiere. At Pathé Palace on Oct. 1, Madison wore a stunning floor-length Dior Spring 2026 Haute Couture gown featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline and floral embroidery in shades of pink, lavender, and pale blue. Red Carpet Fashion Awards noted the gown’s black base was fully embellished, a detail that may not be immediately apparent in photographs.
The navy tailoring resonates more with her first press look than the couture gown does. Her initial outfit also emphasized structure, featuring a fitted blazer, short skirt, and sheer black tights. The darker palette and tailored shapes suggest that she and Mukamal are confident in returning to a silhouette that suits her well.
Jewelry has been a consistent theme throughout her appearances. Madison serves as a campaign star and ambassador for Tiffany & Co., donning the brand’s pieces on the red carpet in both London and Paris. Tom + Lorenzo remarked that she and her co-star Jeremy Allen White made a fashion correction in Paris after some questionable choices in London, highlighting the scrutiny her looks are under.

The attention surrounding her fashion choices is understandable given the film. ‘The Social Reckoning’ is Aaron Sorkin’s companion piece to ‘The Social Network’, featuring Madison as Frances Haugen, the Facebook engineer who exposed the company’s secrets. White portrays Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, while Jeremy Strong takes on the role of Mark Zuckerberg, previously played by Jesse Eisenberg.
For Madison, the stakes are particularly high. This marks her first major film role since her Oscar-winning performance in ‘Anora’, making the reception of ‘The Social Reckoning’ even more significant. Sony is set to release the film in theaters on Oct. 9, leaving her with just a few more days of press.
If this navy ensemble is any indication, fans can anticipate more polished looks leading up to the opening night.
