Few movie friendships have endured as well as the one at the center of the ‘Pitch Perfect’ films. This a cappella comedy began in 2012 and expanded into a trilogy, with ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ debuting in 2015 and ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ following in 2017, the latter grossing over $185 million globally. Fans have longed for a ‘Pitch Perfect’ reunion ever since.

Discussions about a fourth film have never fully faded, and the cast has kept the hope alive. Brittany Snow has expressed optimism about the possibility of a fourth movie, although the project’s status remains uncertain. Therefore, any appearance of the Bellas together is a delightful surprise for fans.

On October 17, at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, fans got just that. Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, who portrayed Beca and Chloe in the franchise, posed together on the carpet, marking a charming ‘Pitch Perfect’ reunion moment.

Snow dazzled in a slinky red sequined gown from Max Mara’s Resort 2027 collection, minus the oversized coat it was paired with on the runway. The dress hugged her figure beautifully, featuring a plunging V-neckline and delicate spaghetti straps, with sequins that shimmered under the lights.

She opted for a simple styling approach, allowing her blond hair to cascade in loose waves over her shoulders, complemented by a small pendant necklace resting at her collarbone. This look was highlighted as one of the evening’s best-dressed.

Kendrick’s ensemble presented a contrasting silhouette. She wore a plunging peplum gown from Georges Chakra’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which added structure at the waist and a sharp, formal edge to her look.

Side by side, their outfits created a striking contrast: a fluid, sparkling column on one side and a sculpted peplum on the other, both embracing the glamour synonymous with the gala.

This isn’t Kendrick’s first standout appearance at the event. At the 2024 gala, she wore a royal blue sequin dress from Monique Lhuillier, celebrating the success of her directorial debut ‘Woman of the Hour.’ She also attended the 2025 edition.

Her gala history reflects a growing comfort with eveningwear that balances sparkle and sophistication. This year’s peplum gown felt like a bold evolution in that direction.

Snow has been busy both on the carpet and on screen. At the 2026 Golden Globes, she wore a white strapless gown by Danielle Frankel, styled with a low ponytail reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow’s look at the 2012 Academy Awards. Her Netflix series ‘The Beast in Me’ was nominated for Best Television Limited Series.

She is also set to return for the second season of ‘The Hunting Wives,’ with filming continuing until April 2026. This blend of dramatic and thriller roles signifies a shift for an actress long associated with musical comedy.

The evening was filled with star pairings, with sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning also in attendance, while the ‘Pitch Perfect’ duo was a highlight of the night. The guest list included Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Karlie Kloss, and Maya Hawke.

Amid a sea of dramatic gowns, Snow’s red sequins helped her top the best-dressed lists, a fitting tribute to a franchise that has always celebrated both performance and style.

Part of the allure lies in the nostalgia. ‘Pitch Perfect’ emerged at a time when a cappella and campus comedies felt innovative, and its characters remain beloved. Seeing two of its stars together on the carpet evokes that fondness.

It also serves as a reminder that the cast has maintained their close bonds. Regardless of whether a fourth film materializes, moments like this keep the Barden Bellas legacy vibrant.
