Rockstar Games has been on a roll lately. Their titles continue to captivate us, leading to impressive sales figures.

In their latest earnings update, Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, shared some exciting news. As of December 31, 2024, Grand Theft Auto 5 has surpassed 210 million units sold globally. This is up from 205 million units at the end of the previous quarter. The entire GTA series has now sold over 440 million units.

But that’s not all. Red Dead Redemption 2 is also making waves. It has now sold over 70 million units worldwide, an increase from 67 million in the prior quarter. This brings the total sales for the Red Dead Redemption series to over 95 million units.

These numbers highlight the enduring appeal of Rockstar’s games. Even years after their initial releases, both Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 continue to attract new players and keep existing ones engaged.

It’s clear that Rockstar’s commitment to creating immersive and engaging worlds resonates with us. As we look ahead, it’s exciting to think about what they might have in store next.
