Newest Issue of ‘Baki’ Manga Parodies Donald Trump and Elon Musk

The latest chapter of Baki Rahen includes surprising cameos from two characters based on Donald Trump and Elon Musk, named Trunp and Elom. These two figures don’t exactly have a smooth time in this brutal world.

In this chapter, Trunp introduces Elom to Yuujirou Hanma, a terrifying martial artist whom the United States has agreed not to provoke. Elom, unsure that one person could be so powerful, questions why such a pact exists. However, Trunp insists that Yuujirou’s strength poses a threat to the entire country.

Despite his doubts, Elom is eager to meet Yuujirou. When the two approach him, they quickly realize how terrifying the martial artist truly is. The confidence they had before fades into pure fear as they take in Yuujirou’s muscular build and intimidating presence.

In a moment of anger, Yuujirou throws a punch at Elom, stopping just inches from his head, but the energy from it still pushes his face back. To top it off, Yuujirou threatens both of them with sexual assault.

The last page shows Yuujirou smiling with his eyes glowing white and inviting them to bring in more security. His malicious demeanor only heightens the tension.

This is far from the first time Baki has included real-life figures as characters. Politicians like George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden have all made appearances, often depicted as victims of overwhelming strength.

One previous comic even showed Trunp begging a sleeping Yuujirou not to accept a Biden stand-in as president after the 2020 election. His attempt to wake the martial artist up resulted in him being beaten senseless.

While Yuujirou’s violent behavior is unsettling, it seems to reflect Trump’s own controversial history. In 2023, a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing columnist E. Jean Carroll.
