Utahime Dream is expanding into the world of animation with a new TV series, following its success as a media mix project. The show features idols who perform a mix of original songs and covers from different eras, including the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa periods.

While we don’t have all the details yet on the staff or release date, there’s already an exciting teaser video out.

The anime’s main cast includes a variety of talented voice actors. Rena Yamazaki will voice Ibuki Yumesaki, Anna Suzuki takes on the role of Maika Sakuragi, and Arisa Sonohara voices Kiyomi Mashiro.

Also starring are Kaya as HiREN, Karin Isobe as Hikari Mizutsuki, Tomomi Jiena Sumi as Rin Takagi, Reo Kurachi as Himawari Hagiwara, and Yume Takeuchi as SAKURAKO.

There’s also a special illustration from gomzi, the character designer for Kiyomi Mashiro, to celebrate the announcement.
