‘A Certain Scientific Railgun’ Confirms Fourth Season with Teaser Video
A Certain Scientific Railgun is getting a Season 4, and we’re excited! This news came during the Dengeki Bunko “Super New Year Appreciation – Winter Festival Online 2025” event.
The upcoming season will bring back Tatsuyuki Nagai as director, and we’ll hear the same voices from the main cast: Rina Sato, Satomi Arai, Aki Toyosaki, and Kanae Ito. The series is being produced by J.C.STAFF, but we don’t have many other details yet.
The third season aired in January 2020, and all the seasons are available on Crunchyroll as they aired in Japan.
In A Certain Scientific Railgun, we follow Misaka, a powerful girl with electro-manipulation abilities. Her Railgun move is especially famous.

The story takes place in Academy City, where students with supernatural powers, known as espers, live. Misaka’s best friend, Kuroko, is always by her side. With super-powered gangs, mad scientists, and monsters around every corner, there’s no shortage of chaos in this city.
