Allie is going to travel to spend Christmas with her long-distance boyfriend, but she isn’t looking forward to it due to the relationship being on the rocks. However, her car trip to the airport ends with engine trouble but a kind passerby Ryan stops to help.
Allie hopes that the relationship with her boyfriend will pick up after she moves in with him, and makes a wish on a snow globe to bring good vibes her way.
At the diner across town, Ryan’s daughter wishes on a snow globe, with immediate signs that her wish was granted.
Michelle is now the main organizer of the Christmas festival as Allie is going to be in Washington DC, United States of America.
However, a massive storm blows through, canceling all flights, and Ryan meets up with Allie at the airport, and they decide to hang out only for a rockslide to basically trap everyone in Evergreen.
Ryan and Allie grow closer, with Allie eventually breaking up with her boyfriend and deciding against the move, with Ryan also staying in Evergreen.
Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa (2018)
When Lisa returns to Evergreen, it is with dismay that she finds the historic general store permanently closed.
Lisa decides to restore the store and help out the good people of Evergreen and gets a contractor, Kevin, to help her, dialing up the charm because he’s not very keen on working through Christmas on a project that is not going to be a walk in the park.
The task is not easy, and after they discover the general store’s Mailbox to Santa for safekeeping, an undelivered 25-year-old letter for the North Pole is also discovered.
Kevin and Lisa find themselves getting closer, as Lisa is reminded of all the good points of the town, finding herself falling for the old school Christmas traditions.
Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings of Joy (2019)
As Evergreen searches for a long-lost time capsule, a writer from the Big Apple finds out that there is more to life.
New Yorker Katie Connell falls for Ben Baxter, the town’s librarian who wants to resume a writing career, while she also is looking to make a big decision on her own writing career.
As a fifty-year old time capsule that was meant to be opened this year is searched for, Evergreen looks forward to its fiftieth anniversary of their Christmas Festival.
Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing (2020)
As Michelle’s much anticipated wedding day gets closer, she can’t quite find the balance between the museum’s Christmas event and her Mayoral duties.
Hannah steps up for Michelle but she’s already very busy leading the choir and working at the Tinker Shop to take charge of the museum’s Christmas Eve grand opening. This also doesn’t bode well for her relationship with Elliot.
Elliot wants to expand the Tinker shop all the way to Boston, but needs Hannah’s help, whether she will be able to tear herself away from Evergreen’s Tinker Shop is another question.
The weather also threatens to turn Michelle’s wedding into one where no one can attend, eventually turning her dream into a nightmare.
A shock return of Jeb Cooper also threatens to ruin the mood for everyone.

Do You Need To Watch Christmas in Evergreen Movies in Order?
There are some recurring characters but generally each movie is introducing a new storyline and new relationships, so it’s not going to matter much if you don’t watch them in release date order.
It won’t be a bad idea to watch in order, as you do see relationships develop over the course of the four movies, but this doesn’t mean you’ll be missing out on much, as these characters’ relationships won’t be particularly central the future films.
Are Christmas in Evergreen Movies Connected?
They are all based in the town of Evergreen, Vermont in the United States of America, with the majority of the films taking part here. Generally each show revolves around the Christmas festival and how the various characters interact with it.
However, there isn’t much else that really links the films, as they’re supposed to be a Christmas film you can switch on every year and enjoy regardless if you’ve seen the previous episodes or not.
