Monaco is synonymous with glamour, and its charity galas are no exception. This season, the Principality hosted one of its most prominent philanthropic events for the second consecutive year.

The spotlight was on a familiar face, as Eva Longoria graced the event, showcasing her ability to blend elegance with a noble cause.

The second Monaco edition of the Global Gift Gala took place on Friday, October 9, in the opulent Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris. María Bravo, founder of the Global Gift Foundation, chaired the evening alongside honorary chair Eva Longoria.

Guests donned black tie attire for a cocktail reception and red carpet, followed by an exquisite dinner, live performances, and an auction. Sandy Heribert, the host of the Ballon d’Or ceremony, served as the master of ceremonies, while singer Lara Fabian made her Monaco debut with a live concert. Ticket prices ranged from €1,500 to €5,000.

For the photocall, Longoria opted for a stunning strapless black velvet dress featuring a sparkling embellished neckline, adding a touch of glamour to the classic silhouette. Her textured updo and sparkling jewelry, including hoop earrings, a diamond necklace, and layered bracelets, completed her look beautifully.

Longoria radiated confidence as she posed for the cameras, her glossy makeup enhancing the sparkle of her jewelry against the dark velvet fabric.

The evening’s jewelry was fittingly provided by APM Monaco, as Longoria serves as the brand’s muse.

The gala supports various charitable causes, with this year’s beneficiaries including Fight Aids Monaco, Alexandra Leclerc’s Corazones Unidos fund in Mexico, Casa Ángeles Marbella, and the Quang Chau orphanage in Vietnam.

Founded in 2013, the Global Gift Foundation aims to assist vulnerable women, children, and families, with its Casa Global Gift centers providing multidisciplinary care for children with special needs and rare diseases.

Longoria’s role extended beyond just posing for photos; she took to the stage at the Hôtel de Paris, effortlessly switching between English and French, much to the audience’s delight.

Having collaborated with Bravo for over a decade, Longoria views the gala as more than just a gathering of influential figures. Other speakers included Princess Stéphanie, Alexandra Leclerc, and YANINA Couture, all emphasizing the impact of influence when directed towards helping others.

This marked only the second edition of the gala in Monaco. The inaugural event on October 4, 2025, reportedly raised around €400,000, and organizers aspire to make it a staple of Monaco’s social calendar.

At the first gala, Princess Stéphanie was honored with the Global Gift Philanthropist Award for her extensive work through Fight Aids Monaco, her nonprofit supporting individuals living with HIV. Both the Monaco and Marbella editions have been recognized as among the Best Events in Europe 2026 by European Best Destinations.

The Monaco gala was organized in collaboration with CMC Consulting, the agency founded by Camille Gottlieb and Medy Anthony. Additional entertainment included a mentalist, a magic performance, and a DJ.

Longoria’s commitment to the foundation has taken her across Europe this year. The gala was previously held in Cannes on May 20, where she served as honorary chair alongside actress Jacqueline Fernandez, presenting the Global Gift Women Empowerment Award to Sofia Carson and Jwana Karim.

The foundation has hosted galas in various cities, including Paris, Marbella, London, and Dubai. Longoria has consistently leveraged her platform to raise awareness for its initiatives, keeping the focus on the children and families benefiting from the funds raised.

This blend of fashion and philanthropy is the essence of the event. As Monaco’s autumn social season unfolds, this red carpet showcased how a stunning outfit can beautifully complement a worthy cause.
