LEGO Unveils Marvel Skyline Set Featuring Avengers Tower, X-Mansion and Galactus Minifigure
Marvel’s cities are as iconic as its heroes. From the towering skyscrapers of New York to the hidden mansions and secret sanctuaries, the franchise’s skyline is almost a character itself. Thus, it’s no surprise that LEGO has managed to condense it all into a compact display.
The timing of this reveal is perfect, coinciding with New York Comic Con weekend, a fitting venue for a set that honors the buildings overshadowed by one of the world’s most recognizable skylines. For collectors already showcasing Marvel creations, this set offers a neat way to consolidate their collection.
The LEGO Marvel Skyline set has officially launched. Titled ‘The Marvel Skyline’ (set 67006), this 18+ microscale model comprises 1,261 pieces and features a street layout that measures approximately 15.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. It will be available for purchase starting January 1, 2027, at LEGO Stores and on LEGO.com, priced at $99.99, although some early listings indicated a price of $109.99.

This set draws inspiration from Marvel’s comics, films, and TV shows, aiming to weave a narrative that connects them all. Key buildings include Avengers Tower, the Daily Bugle, Oscorp Industries, Fisk Tower, the Baxter Building, the Sanctum Sanctorum, and the X-Mansion. The law office of Nelson and Murdock also makes an appearance.

The set also features lesser-known locations such as Damage Control’s headquarters, A.I.M., Roxxon Corporation, the Wakanda Embassy, Pym Laboratories, and the Rand Enterprises building, totaling around 14 locations. The Daily Bugle is prominently placed at the front, with Avengers Tower and the Baxter Building also enjoying prime spots.

A skyline wouldn’t be complete without a looming threat, and this set includes Galactus as a minifigure, reportedly the first physical LEGO representation of the character, towering menacingly over the street. Additionally, nanofigures of Spider-Man and the Human Torch are included to protect the city.
The details add a dynamic touch. Spider-Man recreates the iconic train scene from ‘Spider-Man 2’, while the Human Torch creates a giant flaming number four above the Baxter Building. Fans of the Fantastic Four will also appreciate a rocket ship launching from the building, inspired by the MCU’s Excelsior.
The sky above this rendition of New York is anything but serene. An attacking Leviathan from ‘The Avengers’ swoops through the scene, accompanied by the Avengers’ Quinjet, the X-Jet, and a Thanos-Copter that pays homage to the comics. Street-level vehicles, including the Spider-Mobile, contribute to the model’s bustling city feel.
This variety is a significant part of the set’s charm. Each building and vehicle showcases its own unique style, allowing different stories and eras to coexist harmoniously on one shelf. It’s a clever way to juxtapose comic-era references with movie ones.
The set also harkens back to an older LEGO tradition. LEGO’s Architecture line introduced its Skyline collection in 2016, featuring models of cities like Venice, Berlin, and New York City, each combining several iconic structures into one build. This range continued until 2022 and made a comeback in 2025, demonstrating the format’s enduring appeal.
The Marvel version is notably larger than those earlier sets. Most previous Architecture skylines contained fewer than 1,000 pieces, while this one boasts 1,261, which also accounts for its more substantial size. Earlier this year, a rumored listing for the set circulated before LEGO confirmed it.
This reveal comes at a particularly busy time for LEGO and Marvel. A new wave of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ sets launched on October 4, including a New Avengers Tower priced at $109.99 with 954 pieces, ahead of the film’s release in December. While those sets focus on minifigures, the Marvel Skyline emphasizes display.
This contrast may be the main attraction. Rather than focusing on a single hero’s base or a battle scene, the skyline allows fans to showcase the entire universe simultaneously. For adult collectors seeking a Marvel piece with a smaller footprint, this set appears to be a smart addition.
