New ‘VisionQuest’ Clip Previews ‘Reboot’ Ahead of Double-Episode Release
Marvel’s streaming trilogy has reached its thrilling conclusion, and ‘VisionQuest’ is already making waves. The series debuted on Disney+ today, and fans are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of Vision’s unique digital journey.
The narrative centers around White Vision, who has been concealing his identity while living as a human and working at a pub. His tranquil existence is disrupted by a boy named Tommy, portrayed by Ruaridh Mollica, and the arrival of Todd Stashwick’s Paladin, a bounty hunter on his trail. Additionally, James Spader’s Ultron lurks within Vision’s mind, establishing a complex father-son dynamic at the core of the series.
Marvel has unveiled a new clip from the third episode, which IGN premiered. The brief clip features Vision sitting in a pickup truck, conversing with a younger man beside him, providing an early glimpse into the more grounded, road-focused aspect of the storyline. The episode, titled ‘Reboot’, is set to premiere on October 21.

Spoilers are ahead for the first two episodes. The second episode concluded with Vision surviving the adamantium bullets fired by Paladin, although his condition remains grave. He also lost the processing power that J.A.R.V.I.S. provided, raising questions about his ability to function fully or whether the AI can be restored.
Tommy’s true identity is another intriguing thread to follow. The third episode may reveal more about his background and his connection to Vision, as well as how he copes with his own abilities. The title ‘Reboot’ suggests that Vision will be focused on repairing himself and contemplating his future.
‘VisionQuest’ is described as a blend of humor, action, and identity-driven drama. An earlier clip showcased a humorous moment where Vision and Ultron are stopped by a security bot that asks them to prove they are not robots, highlighting their odd couple dynamic. This marks a significant shift from their adversarial relationship in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.
The cast includes T’Nia Miller as the vengeful robot Jocasta, alongside human versions of J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., and E.D.I.T.H., played by James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, and Emily Hampshire. Tommy is depicted as an 18-year-old orphan recently out of the foster care system in London, according to production details.
The release schedule is unique. Disney+ is dropping two episodes at a time, with the first two available on October 14, followed by the third and fourth on October 21, and the fifth and sixth on October 28. The seventh episode will arrive on November 4, with the finale set for November 11.
Episodes are released at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT. The first six episodes range from 45 to 54 minutes, while the final two are the longest in MCU TV history, clocking in at 62 and 68 minutes.

This series marks the final chapter in a trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha All Along’. Notably, Wanda is absent from this storyline, as confirmed by the showrunner. Vision’s involvement in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ remains uncertain, with Paul Bettany not included in official casting announcements, while the Russo brothers keep details under wraps.
Showrunner Terry Matalas has crafted the ending to allow for Vision and Tommy to transition into the film, depending on how the series concludes. This makes each new episode a potential clue to the characters’ future.
For now, fans have just one week to wait for the next double feature.
