Completing the Cruel Labyrinth for the first time gives you, not one, but two Ascendancy Points and access to the Divine Font, which can add enchantments to your gloves or boots. The enchantments are of higher value than those in the normal Labyrinth, and each additional completion unlocks one more use of the Divine Font. Navigating the Labyrinth
To unlock any variety of Labyrinth, players must complete a set of requirements, but once they do, they can run it repeatedly. The Labyrinth is comprised of chambers connected by exits, and three of these chambers are Aspirant’s Trials, where players face off against the formidable Izaro. Completing all three unlocks the Ascendancy Chamber where players can claim their rewards. However, there are no waypoints or checkpoints in the Labyrinth, so leaving for any reason will require players to create a new instance. Additionally, special PoE items that modify the mechanics of the Aspirant’s Trial can only be used in the active Labyrinth and cannot be moved to a stash. Nevertheless, players can access their stash immediately before each Aspirant’s Trial and in the Ascendancy Chamber. Lastly, the layout of each variant of the Labyrinth is randomly regenerated each day, at midnight (00:00) UTC, meaning that the Labyrinth could be vastly different tomorrow than it is today.
