‘Please Put Them On, Takamine-san’ Rom-Com Anime Reveals New Videos and Cast Information

The anime adaptation of Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san is set to premiere on April 2 on AT-X and Tokyo MX. Based on Yuuichi Hiiragi’s romantic comedy manga, the series has just announced new cast members, staff, and theme songs. Two fresh promotional videos have also been released.

Joining the cast are Sumire Uesaka as Ellie Evergreen and Miyu Tomita as Rurika Kurosaki. Uesaka is known for Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, while Tomita has voiced characters in Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo.

The anime’s opening song, Baby Baby Baby, is performed by Masami Okui and Bonjour Suzuki, while Makoto Furukawa sings the ending track, Hightail it. Both songs are featured in the newly released promos.

Tomoe Makino, known for Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, is directing the series at LIDENFILMS. The script and series composition are in the hands of Yuu Satou, who previously worked on Yuusha ga Shinda!. Character designs are handled by Ryou Yamauchi and Maya Itou, while Takeshi Nakatsuka is in charge of the music.

Other staff members include Yukiko Ashino as art director, Akira Hashigami overseeing color design, and Tomoyoshi Ishizuka directing photography. Satomi Yamada is handling editing, while Akane Maeda and Daiki Ogawa are working on sound direction and effects.

The Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san manga first appeared in Gangan Joker in January 2019. Square Enix released volume nine last August, and volume ten is set to hit shelves on March 22. The English version, licensed by Yen Press, will see its ninth volume released on June 24.
