‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Keegan Allen Shares Details of Gunpoint Robbery Incident
Keegan Allen, known for his role as Toby Cavanaugh on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ from 2010 to 2017, has recently made headlines for a terrifying incident. The actor, who also portrayed Liam Walker on ‘Walker’ from 2021 to 2024 and appeared in ‘The Rookie’ earlier this year, described a violent encounter in West Hollywood that left him injured and shaken. His social media posts have brought significant attention to the alarming event.
On Thursday evening, Oct. 8, Allen was reportedly held at gunpoint and knifepoint by two masked men outside the Laurel Supply market in West Hollywood. Following a 911 call regarding an assault and robbery, sheriff’s deputies arrived at 8445 Santa Monica Boulevard. Allen recounted that the assailants struck him in the head and stole his Rolex watch.
Shortly after the attack, Allen shared a video on Instagram showing his bloodied face, along with security footage of the incident that allegedly captured the assault. He noted that the attackers did not take a bracelet or ring he was wearing at the time.
In his posts, Allen expressed that West Hollywood no longer feels safe for him. He recounted that the men threatened his life over the watch, and he believes they would have followed through on that threat. He mentioned he would provide more details soon, describing the encounter as one that could have ended much worse.
About five hours later, after being urged to seek medical attention, he revealed that he was concussed and at the hospital. He reassured fans that he expected to recover, providing a small comfort to those concerned.
Allen also criticized the Flock Safety cameras in West Hollywood, calling out officials like Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom. He urged them to utilize surveillance footage to help catch the suspects, highlighting the need for effective technology in combating street crime.
Reports indicate that the Sheriff’s Department confirmed the victim was struck in the face with a handgun, and the suspects fled north on Olive Drive in an unknown vehicle. Descriptions of the suspects include two males, one armed with a gun and the other with a knife. As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released further information about the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing, and details may evolve as deputies continue their inquiries. Some reports have varied slightly, with a few indicating the location as Hollywood instead of West Hollywood, noting that the robbery occurred in the parking lot next to Allen’s vehicle.
This incident follows a troubling trend of crimes in the area, including a robbery involving a shooting on Holloway Drive near Sunset Boulevard on Oct. 1, and a burglary reported on Sept. 22. These events underscore Allen’s concerns about safety in West Hollywood and highlight the increasing number of serious incidents in a short timeframe.
Allen has indicated he will provide updates as he is able. For now, his recovery and the pursuit of the suspects remain the primary focus, with the case continuing to develop as investigators seek to identify the men responsible for this frightening crime.
This situation serves as a stark reminder that even public figures can become victims of street crime. With no arrests made and the suspects still unidentified, the story is ongoing, and any further statements from Allen are likely to draw more attention to the case.
