Jeremy Allen White has admitted to a rather unusual hobby that many fans might find surprisingly relatable. The star of The Bear and the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic shared on the Smartless podcast that he is obsessed with browsing real estate listings for houses he has no intention of buying.

White explained to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that scrolling through apps like Zillow helps him decompress when he isn’t working. He described the habit as a form of fantasy, admitting he often sends listings to friends who simply tell him to “just buy it then.”

The actor’s fascination isn’t just limited to apps; he is also a big fan of the reality series Owning Manhattan. He noted that he is particularly impressed by the show’s star, Ryan Serhant, and the high-stakes world of New York real estate.

When asked about the strangest place he has fantasized about moving to, White immediately named Bisbee, Arizona. He recalled visiting the small town during a cross-country road trip about a decade ago and falling in love with its charm.

He compared the “middle of nowhere” town to Laurel Canyon, noting its pastel buildings and hilly landscape. White admitted he spent months after the trip imagining what it would be like to own a small house there and live a different life.

Do you ever find yourself scrolling through real estate apps just for fun, and if so, where would you dream of moving? Tell us in the comments!
