Livvy Dunne is once again in the limelight after posting a striking new look on social media that quickly garnered fan attention. The snapshot, shared via her Instagram story, showcased a casual mirror selfie featuring her outfit for an upcoming project linked to the revived ‘Baywatch’ franchise.

In the image, Dunne sported a classic red swimsuit paired with light-colored micro shorts and a matching cropped jacket. This stylish combination captured online interest as it fused the iconic ‘Baywatch’ aesthetic with a contemporary, casual streetwear vibe. The post was simply captioned as a “fit check,” and it rapidly circulated among her followers.

Earlier this year, Dunne also shared a series of photos from the same shoot. In that post, she embraced the playful spirit of the franchise, stating, “I only run in slow motion now.” This caption humorously referenced the legendary running scenes from the original series and was widely shared by her fans.

The anticipated reboot of ‘Baywatch’ has been in the works for several years and is now progressing at Fox Entertainment. According to reports from Deadline and other entertainment sources, the new iteration will feature a blend of new characters alongside familiar faces from the original series.

Dunne is set to portray a character named Grace, a junior lifeguard, in the revamped series. The cast also includes Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, and Hassie Harrison.

The project was officially greenlit for a full season in 2025 and is expected to be included in the 2026–27 television lineup. It is being produced with assistance from California’s film and television tax credit program, which has facilitated production in the state.

The reboot will also feature connections to the original series. David Chokachi is returning as Cody Madison, while Erika Eleniak is also set to reprise her role as Shauni McClain. These returning appearances have been described in industry reports as a bridge between the old and new iterations of the show.

Casting for the series has been rolling out gradually, with the latest updates confirming Dunne’s recurring role as part of the younger lifeguard ensemble. According to production announcements shared through entertainment outlets like Deadline, filming is expected to continue through 2026 ahead of the show’s planned release window.
