Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ Adds Aaron Paul and More for Season 3
Prime Video’s popular series ‘Fallout’ is preparing for its upcoming season with significant casting updates and returning talent taking on larger roles.
Emmy winner Aaron Paul is joining Season 3 of the show, adding another notable name to the post-apocalyptic landscape. Annabel O’Hagan and Dave Register have also been elevated to series regulars for the new season, alongside Frances Turner, who was promoted to a regular role in Season 2.
Produced by Kilter Films, the series is led by executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner continue their roles as creators, showrunners, and executive producers. The show has achieved massive success, reportedly exceeding 100 million viewers across its first two seasons.
Aaron Paul’s casting reunites him with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy after their previous collaboration on HBO’s Westworld. Known for his Emmy-winning portrayal of Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, his return to work with the duo has garnered excitement from fans of both series.
Based on the enduring video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, ‘Fallout’ unfolds in a world ravaged by nuclear war. The narrative follows individuals who emerge from underground shelters to confront a perilous and chaotic surface world filled with dangers, unusual factions, and dark humor.
The series features a talented cast including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. It has become one of Prime Video’s standout successes, with both seasons ranking among the platform’s most-watched offerings.

Season 2 received particularly favorable reviews from audiences and critics alike for broadening the world and enriching character arcs while maintaining the show’s blend of violence, satire, and quirky humor. Critics highlighted its improved world-building compared to Season 1 and praised its ability to balance a faithful video game adaptation with original storytelling that resonates well on television.
While some critiques focused on pacing in certain episodes, the overall reception has been overwhelmingly positive, heightening anticipation for what lies ahead.
Production credits also include Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios, along with James Altman and Margot Lulick. Amazon MGM Studios continues to collaborate with Kilter Films and Bethesda to produce the series.
