Sydney Sweeney Stuns in Bold Naked Snake Scene from ‘Euphoria’ Season 3
Sydney Sweeney has ignited a flurry of online reactions following a daring new scene in Euphoria Season 3, where her character Cassie experiences one of her most extreme moments yet. This scene, which aired in the latest episode of the HBO drama on May 18, quickly became one of the season’s most talked-about highlights.
In this provocative photoshoot, Sweeney’s character is depicted completely nude with a large snake draped around her body. This moment is framed within Cassie’s storyline, showcasing her embrace of a controversial public persona reminiscent of an OnlyFans-style influencer.
During the episode, Cassie is guided into the shoot by her former friend Maddy, who now serves as her manager. This moment reflects Cassie’s escalating online fame, which has become a central theme in the new season.
The scene also features appearances from Spanish singer Rosalía and actress Anna Van Patten, who join Cassie in the stylized shoot. Cassie’s look includes minimal clothing and bold styling choices, contributing to the chaotic, dramatic, and highly performative nature of the sequence.
This isn’t the first instance of Cassie pushing boundaries in Euphoria. Earlier episodes of Season 3 have showcased her in exaggerated costume-like scenarios, including a baby-themed outfit and a puppy-inspired persona, both tied to her relationship dynamics and public image within the show.
Some viewers have voiced strong opinions about the direction of the character, particularly regarding the portrayal of her online persona. Critics and real-life content creators alike have questioned the show’s representation of subscription-based adult content, suggesting it leans more towards exaggeration and fantasy than realism.

However, show creator Sam Levinson has defended this creative direction. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he explained the intention behind the surreal tone of these scenes, stating, “What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion — the gag is to jump out, to break the wall.”
As Season 3 continues to explore more extreme emotional and visual territory, Cassie’s storyline has emerged as one of the most controversial and widely discussed aspects of Euphoria to date.
