OnlyFans-Inspired Drama ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ Becomes Apple TV’s Streaming Hit
Apple TV+ has been consistently releasing new shows in recent months, but one series has managed to rise above the rest.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles, based on the novel by Rufi Thorpe, has quickly become one of the platform’s most discussed hits. Starring Elle Fanning, the show has garnered significant attention from both audiences and critics since its debut.
The series follows Margo, a young college student whose life takes a dramatic turn after she becomes pregnant by her English professor. Faced with financial instability, she must find innovative ways to support herself.
This quest leads her into the world of OnlyFans, where she attempts to generate income while dealing with societal judgment, pressure, and personal hurdles. The narrative blends drama with dark humor, exploring how internet culture influences contemporary life.
Recent viewing statistics and audience rankings indicate that the series has surged back into the platform’s most-watched titles as it approaches its season finale. Critics have also responded positively to the show.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the show boasts a 97% approval rating based on 60 reviews, with critics commending its emotional depth and performances. The consensus emphasizes its compelling storytelling and character development, while Metacritic rates it 79 out of 100, reflecting generally favorable reviews.
