During the finale event for ‘The Boys’, several cast members expressed their genuine reactions to the show’s conclusion. The cast reflected on their years of hard work and the final chapter of the series during interviews.

Erin Moriarty, who portrays Starlight, shared her satisfaction with how everything concluded, both personally and for the overall narrative.

She stated, “I’m really satisfied, for selfish reasons, I’m not going to give too much away. But I’m really selfishly satisfied and globally satisfied.”

Tomer Capone, known for his role as Frenchie, also expressed positive feelings about the ending. He emphasized the journey of the series and the experience it provided to the audience.

He remarked, “I am I think we gave you guys one hell of a ride.”

Laz Alonso, who plays Mother’s Milk, conveyed his contentment with how the show concluded on its own terms, without being abruptly cut short or forced in a different direction.

He mentioned, “I’m satisfied because we were able to end it on our terms.”

Cameron Crovetti, who portrays Ryan, echoed similar sentiments. He discussed his excitement upon reading the final script and the direction of the story.

He said, “I’m very satisfied. I know when I got the script and read it I was like, ‘this is sick.’ Yeah, I was very satisfied.”

However, not everyone shared the same perspective on the ending. Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy, expressed a desire for the story to continue longer.

He stated, “No because it’s ending, I want more. I want seasons 6, 7 and 8. You’re talking to a guy that did 15 seasons of a show so I’m like ‘really 5 that’s it, that’s all we’re getting, come on we can do more than that.’”

Colby Minifie, who plays Ashley Barrett, felt satisfied with her character’s storyline conclusion. She appreciated how many character arcs were resolved meaningfully.

She expressed, “I’m satisfied for my character. I’m really satisfied with what happens to a lot of other characters without giving too much away. And I think they did a good job tying up all the loose ends.”

Susan Heyward, who portrays Sister Sage, shared her gratitude for how the series concluded. She emphasized her strong feelings about her character’s final moments and her desire to ensure her voice was included in the process.

She noted, “I’m really grateful for how this show ended, and I remember getting the draft, the first draft, of the final episode. I felt really really passionate about how it’s going to land. I wanted to make sure that I said my piece. So I’m very happy about that.”

Overall, the cast of ‘The Boys’ leaned toward satisfaction, even if some expressed a desire for more time with the story. The finale event showcased a blend of closure, gratitude, and a hint of reluctance to say goodbye.

While opinions varied slightly, the general sentiment among the cast was that the ending provided a fitting conclusion to the story. For many, it marked the end of a lengthy journey that spanned multiple seasons and years of dedication to the series.
