‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Star Morgan Kohan Teases Big Fallout After Maggie’s Kiss With Ex Liam
Morgan Kohan is sharing insights about the intense drama unfolding in ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ following the emotional kiss between Maggie and Liam in season 4.
This pivotal moment occurred in episode 6 of season 4, titled “Falling Through the Cracks.” In this scene, Liam (played by Marcus Rosner) rushes to Maggie’s aid after she falls through a broken floor.
The atmosphere becomes charged as Maggie confronts Liam about his absence during a perilous work trip that resulted in his detention and torture for over a year. The scene culminates in a passionate kiss, a secret that Cal (Chad Michael Murray) is yet to discover.
Kohan emphasizes that this kiss will lead to significant repercussions for all characters involved. She told PEOPLE, “There’s definitely going to be fallout from the kiss. We’re definitely going to see what that brings out for Maggie and Liam and everyone because, yeah, that was definitely huge, shakes things up for everybody. Yeah, big fallout, and then kind of seeing how people try and build back their life in a way.”
Filming this scene was an emotionally charged experience for Kohan. She admitted to feeling pressure due to the scene’s importance but found comfort in working with Marcus Rosner, who provided a supportive environment during filming.
Kohan remarked, “That one was definitely a bit of a doozy.” She elaborated, “You see it on the page and you know what you want it to be and what the expectation is for what the scene is going to be and you want to be able to deliver that. I was definitely a bit stressed out, but I had a really supportive and trusting scene partner in Marcus. So when you’re given such a gift as that is, I dig into my own stuff, and I can be very vulnerable, and had someone kind of catches me on the other side. I think we both felt that.”
The love triangle involving Maggie, Liam, and Cal has become increasingly complex. With Cal still unaware of the kiss, the tension is set to escalate as the story progresses. Fans are left eagerly anticipating how this secret will impact relationships in the small-town setting of ‘Sullivan’s Crossing.’

Despite the escalating drama, Kohan reassured fans who support the pairing of Maggie and Cal. She expressed her understanding of the strong feelings fans have for them and remains optimistic about their connection.
She told PEOPLE, “I can tell them that I am also Team Cal and Maggie. I think there’s something so beautiful about the two of them and so meant to be. So I think just know that people are flawed and that life isn’t always black and white, but it’s OK to live in the gray area and we can hold out hope.”
Kohan added, “I mean, it’s Cal and Maggie. I think there’s something so magic between these two people. I think there’s always hope to be held out for.”
‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ continues to air on The CW, with new episodes promising more emotional twists, relationship tensions, and tough decisions for its main characters.
