Fans have been enthusiastically sharing the video across various platforms, commenting on the undeniable chemistry between the two actors during their press engagements. Their light-hearted interactions have become a staple of the ‘Masters of the Universe’ promotional campaign, which heavily incorporates social media alongside traditional interviews and premieres.

The film, titled ‘Masters of the Universe’ (known internationally as ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’), is a sword and sorcery adventure directed by Travis Knight. It draws inspiration from the classic Mattel franchise and marks the second live-action adaptation, following the 1987 film. Nicholas Galitzine stars as Prince Adam / He-Man, with Camila Mendes playing a significant role alongside a star-studded cast that includes Jared Leto, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Kristen Wiig, Morena Baccarin, and Idris Elba.

The narrative follows Prince Adam as he returns to the planet Eternia to embrace his destiny as He-Man. He must confront the evil forces led by Skeletor while discovering his own strength and responsibilities as a hero.

The project has experienced a long and complex development journey. After initial attempts to reboot the franchise in the 2000s, the film changed studios and creative teams several times. In 2009, Sony Pictures Entertainment began developing a new live-action version with Escape Artists producing. Years later, the rights shifted to Netflix in 2022, before finally moving to Amazon MGM Studios in 2024, where Travis Knight took over as director. Casting changes occurred as well, with Nicholas Galitzine stepping in to play He-Man.

Filming took place in London from January to June 2025, with the movie premiering at the TCL Chinese Theatre on May 18. It is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on June 5, with international distribution managed by Sony Pictures Releasing International.

The film has garnered mixed to positive early reviews, but the online buzz has been significantly fueled by the cast’s promotional efforts. Clips like Mendes and Galitzine’s TikTok moment continue to spark interest in the movie as audiences engage with both the film and the stars’ off-screen interactions during the global press tour.
