Netflix has enjoyed another successful week, with two distinct titles making waves on the platform’s latest viewership charts. The thriller series ‘I Will Find You’ debuted with impressive numbers, while the romantic drama ‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ also attracted a solid audience during its initial days.

While ‘I Will Find You’ dominated the series side, Netflix’s latest romantic comedy ‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ had a strong start as well.

The film garnered 17.5 million views within its opening three days on Netflix, ranking it seventh among English-language movies released on the platform in 2026 so far. It closely follows other romance titles, including ‘People We Meet on Vacation’, which earned 17.2 million views in its first week.

‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ follows Jill, a woman coping with the sudden loss of her sister Isabelle. To navigate her grief, Jill starts leaving voicemails on Isabelle’s old phone number, unaware that the number has been reassigned to Wes, a stranger who begins to hear her messages and gradually develops feelings for her.

The film is written and directed by Leah McKendrick and features a cast that includes Zoey Deutch, Nick Robinson, Harry Shum Jr., Lukas Gage, and Nick Offerman. Although marketed as a romantic comedy, the narrative also delves deeply into themes of grief, healing, and the journey of moving forward after loss.

In comparison to other Netflix romance films from recent years, ‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ has performed slightly above average. While it may not have reached the staggering opening numbers of Netflix’s biggest hits, the early results indicate that audiences are resonating with the emotional storyline.

The film has also garnered positive reviews from critics, with many highlighting the chemistry between Deutch and Robinson and the film’s ability to balance romance with a more profound emotional narrative.

The combined success of ‘I Will Find You’ and the steady performance of ‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ demonstrates that Netflix continues to attract audiences for both mystery dramas and heartfelt romantic stories. With strong early numbers, both titles are anticipated to remain popular on the platform in the weeks to come.
