Brown-haired characters are powerhouses that ooze vitality, brilliance, and stability. Often characterized as wise beyond their years, anime characters with brown hair are often reliable due to the life-changing insight they always seem to have to offer. Through their support and guidance, they usually take on the role of a protector and defender.
Seemingly a color of many values, brown-haired characters regard family, duty, honor, and morals as the most paramount precepts that they must abide by, and they are more often than not extremely loyal to these principles and never lose sight of who they are and what they wish to accomplish. Once they set their sights on something, they bind themselves to it with laser focus until that task is complete.

Unfazed by this shortcoming, she focussed on becoming an expert weapons master and studied intensively on sealing jutsus, eventually becoming one of the most powerful fuinjutsu masters.

Kiba Inuzuka is a Konoha village ninja, a member of Team 8 alongside Hinata Hyuuga and Shino Aburame, and a descendant of the Inuzaka clan which is known for their use of dogs as fighting companions. Kiba fights with ninja dogs and he is nearly always seen with Akamaru, who was given to him as a child. When fighting, Kiba and Akamaru work together to perform powerful combined attacks.
Kiba is impulsive, headstrong, and at times egocentric, often seen to be provoking fights with his peers but despite this, he is extremely loyal to his comrades and will do anything to protect them. Like the protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, Kiba wishes to become the Hokage and during the Fourth Great Ninja War, he deduced that if he fought and made a name for himself, it would pave the way for him to accomplish this dream.
18. Shimura Tae
Anime Name: Gintama
Frequently referred to as Otae, Shimura Tae is the elder sister of Shimura Shinpachi. The love interest of the Shinsengumi commander, Kondou Isao, she is often called ‘Ne-e-san’ by the Shinsengumi soldiers as they have almost accepted her as the de facto lady commander, or rather the consort of their commander. She works at Snack Smile as a cabaret hostess, though she behaves more like a bouncer, to keep the family dojo Koudoukan going.
Their mother died while they were young, making Tae the guardian of Shinpachi. Since then, she has always taken care of him. A strong woman who always cares more about her family and closest friends than herself, Tae resembles the main protagonist, Sakata Gintoki.
17. Konohamaru Sarutobi

Konohamaru Sarutobi is the grandson of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and the nephew of Asuma Sarutobi, and is named after the Konoha village. He is a member of Team 7 alongside Udon Ise and Moegi Kazamatsuri, which is led by Ebisu. As the grandson of the Third Hokage, he feels that he is not acknowledged as a capable ninja and thus strives to become the Hokage, so he can prove himself.
Konohamaru views Naruto as his rival and role model since unlike the rest of the villagers, he showed no restraint towards punching him, an act that impressed him. Through the anime, Konohamaru has shown to have great emotional endurance after he took in stride the deaths of his grandfather and uncle. In that sense, he has embraced the Will of Fire, a spiritual philosophy on which the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, founded the village.
16. Yamato
Anime Name: Naruto
Also known by the codename Tenzo, Yamato (which is also a codename given to him by Lady Tsunade for the purposes of joining Team 7) is a member of Konoha’s ANBU division, and a younger associate of Team 7’s leader, Kakashi Hatake. He becomes the temporary leader of Team 7 after Kakashi is assigned on a special mission. Previously a test subject of Orochimaru, he was injected with the DNA of the First Hokage, and being the sole survivor of his experiments, he obtained the ability to use Wood Release and as an effect of that, the ability to control tailed beasts.
Similar to other ANBU members, Yamato displays a lull, Stoic attitude in troublesome situations. Despite this, he can also be quite lackadaisical when not on a mission and is frequently seen to use his Wood Release techniques to create comforts, such as making a house to camp in.
15. Ochako Uraraka

Known by her hero name Uravity, Ochako Uraraka is one of the main protagonists and a student of 1-A class at U. A High School, training to become a professional hero. She is a close friend of the main protagonist, Izuku Midoriya. Her Quirk is Zero Gravity, which gives her the power to negate the effects of gravity on solid marks (living and nonliving) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float, then cancel the effect of her Quirk by touching her finger pads together.
Coming from a family of construction workers, which lacks much of a market, they are a poor family. As a result, Ochako aspires to become a hero for money, so she can provide her parents with an easier life.

Iruka Umino is a chunnin of Konoha village and one of the closest mentors of the main protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki. During the attack on Konoha village by the Nine-Tails, Iruka lost both of his parents, and having no one to give attention to him, he pulled pranks on other villagers, similar to his future student Naruto. He later became a teacher at the academy, since he wished to pass on the Will of Fire to his students.
Though he initially disdained the idea of having to teach Naruto Uzumaki because he was the jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails that killed his parents, he changed his stance and decided to teach him. The genuine care and attention he showed Naruto was the main reason Naruto never turned into a sociopath like the jinchuriki of the One-Tail, Gaara.

Chouji Akimichi is a member of Team 10 alongside Nara Shikamaru and Ino Yamanaka, which is led by Asuma Sarutobi. He is also a member of the Akimichi clan, one of the four noble clans of Konoha, whose techniques revolve around the manipulation of their body weight and size through the use of Yang Release.
As a result, they possess high chakra levels and eat a lot to build up or refill their chakra reserves, since they can quickly convert calories into chakra. Team 8 have a particularly special relationship, unlike the other teams where the Akimichi, Nara, and Yamanaka clans combine their abilities to form the ‘Ino-Shika-Cho’ trio which uses combo moves to defeat their opponents.
Choji struggled to make friends during his childhood due to being ridiculed as a fat kid, and this seems to have affected his self-confidence. However, after he gets past this, he becomes one of the most powerful ninjas and was a great factor in turning the tide of war during the Fourth Great Ninja War.

His Sacred Treasure is the Spirit Spear Chastiefol, which he uses simultaneously with his inherent power, Disaster.
Despite being the Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth, King is very hardworking and more serious than his team members. When he joins the group, he begins to act like the only sensible member in the group and questions his teammates’ irresponsible and crazy actions, such as their indifference about losing their sacred treasures.

Commonly referred to by other characters as Chad, Sado is one of the supporting characters in Bleach and a human from Karakura town. He is a classmate of protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki and a close ally and companion. Fitting the stereotype of a gentle giant, Sado is 6’5″ and quite imposing physically yet gets bullied because he never fights back.
When Ichigo protects a coin that is valuable to him, he vows to fight for him and protect him. Hence, begins their adventures in Soul Society, which has seen him become a popular fan favorite in the series.

Sasha Braus was a member of the Survey Corps and one of the few former members of the 104th Cadet Corps, of which she was ranked 9th out of the top 10. A compulsive food hoarder with an overly polite way of speech, Sasha originated from Dauper, a village in the southern territory of Wall Rose. She was often seen in the company of her Corps members, Connie Springer and Jean Kirstein, having developed a bond with them through their shared experiences.
As one of the few members of the Survey Corps that survived the Battle of Shiganshina, Sasha was an extremely skilled soldier who was lightning fast and possessed an uncanny intuition, but her eccentricity made her unfit for group operations. During the Marley arc, when the Survey Corps attacked Liberio, Sasha was shot by Gabi Braun after she retreated to an airship, and bled to death as her fellow soldiers watched in distraught.
9. Shinichi Izumi

Shinichi Izumi is the protagonist of Parasyte and a high school student whose right arm was infected with a Parasite named Migi. A considerate, empathetic person, Shinichi is constantly put into complicated situations as he must find a way to peacefully coexist with Migi and reconcile his desire to protect humanity from the Parasites while he conceals his own Parasite in order to avoid being killed or used as a laboratory specimen.
Similar to superheroes with secret identities, Shinichi must also find a way to explain away his Parasite-fighting activities, as well as the stress and grief they cause him, to his friends and family. Shinichi’s retention of a human mind, emotion, and reason causes other Parasites to see him as a threat. Now he and Migi must defend themselves from attacks by other Parasites, and their ability to think and act independently, and as a team, gives them a tactical edge over normal Parasites.

Tatsumi is the main protagonist of Akame Ga Kill, who embarks on a quest towards the capital in hopes of joining the military and earning enough money to send back to his impoverished village. After narrowly escaping an evil ploy by sadistic nobles, Tatsumi soon learns about the true corruption within the Empire and is recruited into the ranks of Night Raid, a covert assassination group, whose task is to rid the Empire of this corruption by slaying the wicked. Tatsumi is a kindhearted person who wishes for peace but has no reservations about being violent if his friends or his ideals are threatened.
Tatsumi is widely considered by many, both allies and adversaries, to have a tremendous amount of untapped potential despite his young age. Lacking the skill and experience of his fellow members in Night Raid, he makes up for the fact by becoming increasingly more powerful with every battle, with his rapid growth rate being noted by stronger members such as Akame and Bulat.

Initially introduced as a cowardly soldier who constantly fights with protagonist Eren Yeager, Jean Kirstein has been one of the best-developed characters in the series. In a world where eight-foot Titans eat humans for sport, it is only natural that one would want to stay behind the safety of the walls and not recruit to become a soldier for a unit that hunts Titans.
However, the stakes keep rising and Jean realizes that staying cooped up behind the walls is only delaying the inevitable annihilation that humans will face and decides to fight back for their freedom. Jean proves time and time again to be the most logical character, often analyzing situations entirely before going in.

Hange Zoë is the former Survey Corps captain and now the current 14th commander. She is very intense and driven in pursuit of knowledge and especially that which concerns titans. He has never wavered, and obtaining the power of the Attack Titan showed how strong his convictions were, and now in possession of three titan powers, Eren plans to eradicate all humans outside Paradis through The Rumbling.
