Doctor Doom Christmas Ornament Reveals Early Look at ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
Marvel merchandise has a longstanding tradition of subtly revealing plot details well before a film’s release, and this year’s holiday offerings are no exception. With ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ still five months away from hitting theaters, licensing partners have begun launching products related to the film, allowing keen fans to gather insights directly from store shelves rather than relying solely on official marketing.
Hallmark’s 2026 Dream Book, which debuted on April 24, features one of the most extensive Disney and Marvel Keepsake Ornament collections in the company’s history, showcasing franchises from Star Wars to Pixar and a new Pirates of the Caribbean series. The ornaments started rolling out in July, with the majority of remaining pieces set to launch in October, just in time for the holiday shopping rush.
This rollout has already provided the first significant glimpse of the film’s main antagonist. Avengers Updated shared an image sourced from GripCards, offering a closer look at the Doctor Doom Christmas ornament associated with ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ confirming Hallmark’s interpretation of Victor Von Doom’s design ahead of the film’s debut.
Hallmark’s product description emphasizes the character’s comic-accurate menace, portraying Doom as a brilliant intellect with mastery over both sorcery and technology, making him a formidable rival to a host of iconic superheroes. The ornament measures 3.75 by 3.25 by 2.75 inches and is made from plastic with a hanger attachment, designed by Hallmark artist Jake Angell.
Priced at $24.99, the ornament will officially be available starting October 10, 2026, coinciding with the rest of Hallmark’s October lineup. Hallmark’s choice to prominently feature ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ alongside major franchises underscores the seriousness with which the company is approaching its Marvel licensing relationship as the film’s release window approaches.
Digital Dreambook records also mention a Hulk-themed ornament linked to the same film, indicating that Hallmark’s Doomsday collection will encompass other significant characters from the movie. This detail aligns with recent marketing efforts that have increasingly highlighted the Hulk as a central figure in the film’s promotional campaign, appearing in concept art and behind-the-scenes footage released by Marvel Studios in recent weeks.
Robert Downey Jr. stars as Doctor Doom in the film, marking his first MCU role since Tony Stark’s death in ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ with Joe and Anthony Russo directing an ensemble cast that includes characters from the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to hit theaters on December 18, meaning this Hallmark ornament will be available before most audiences have the chance to see the film. As merchandise details gradually emerge ahead of the release, it appears that Doctor Doom’s holiday debut is perfectly timed for Marvel fans eager to add him to their Christmas tree this year.
