Jeep’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Campaign Unveils Latest Teaser Rooted in History
Marvel’s marketing strategy has been quietly building a unique brand partnership throughout 2026, aligning the studio’s major upcoming crossover with Jeep, an automaker with roots tracing back to World War II. What began as a patriotic nod to their shared 1941 inception has evolved into one of the most intricate corporate collaborations linked to this year’s superhero lineup.
This partnership between Jeep and Marvel first gained attention in May when both companies announced plans centered around Captain America and Jeep’s wartime heritage. Since then, the collaboration has unfolded in phases, each adding new dimensions of storytelling as we approach December’s highly anticipated theatrical release.
A new teaser for the Jeep x Marvel collaboration has recently emerged, providing fans with another glimpse into the ongoing ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ partnership. Although the brief clip doesn’t disclose extensive new information, it indicates that both brands are consistently rolling out promotional content leading up to the film’s debut.
This gradual reveal aligns with the earlier announcement of the Jeep Wrangler America250 Edition, a special model inspired by Captain America’s shield, featuring a matching tire cover and red-white-and-blue design linked to the vehicle’s Twelve4Twelve anniversary campaign. Stellantis’ global chief marketing officer, Olivier François, shared insights into the rationale behind this partnership during a media event, emphasizing the desire for something more substantial than mere surface-level patriotism.
“We felt there was an opportunity to do something more meaningful than just putting an American flag on a car and calling it a day,” François stated. “This is not how we do things.”
The collaboration has deepened since that initial reveal, particularly with the launch of “The Original Superheroes,” a campaign video showcasing the Wrangler A250 being airdropped from a military cargo plane, paying homage to the Willys MB vehicles used during World War II. This spot featured real U.S. veterans driving several of Jeep’s iconic models, including the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Gladiator, and Grand Wagoneer, directly linking the brand’s military heritage with its Marvel narrative.
Disney’s VP of global marketing partnerships and promotions, Holly Frank, has described the collaboration as a convergence of two brands emerging from the same cultural moment. Both Jeep and Captain America originated in 1941, creating a natural connection that transcends typical studio marketing tie-ins and is rooted in shared legacy and storytelling.
While it remains unconfirmed whether Jeep vehicles will appear onscreen in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, Stellantis executives have refrained from commenting during press briefings. What is evident is that the co-branded campaign will continue to expand as the film’s December release approaches, integrating Jeep’s entire lineup into Marvel’s promotional efforts in the coming months.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to hit theaters on December 18, and if this latest teaser is any indication, fans can anticipate more updates from the Jeep partnership before the film’s release.
