Disneyland’s World of Frozen Christmas Makeover with Anna and Elsa Starts November 7
Disneyland Paris is known for its extravagant holiday celebrations, and this year’s Christmas program is set to break new ground. For the first time since its debut, the resort’s newest area will receive a full seasonal makeover, transforming one of its most beloved sections into a winter wonderland.
This area is the World of Frozen, part of Disney Adventure World, which opened its Arendelle-themed expansion in March. Since its launch, the land has attracted many fans of the ‘Frozen’ franchise, but it has never been included in the resort’s annual Christmas festivities, primarily because it wasn’t around during previous holiday seasons.
That is changing this year. Disneyland Paris has announced that World of Frozen will be re-themed for Christmas from November 7 to January 6, marking the first time the kingdom of Arendelle has been adorned for the holidays. The celebration will feature two brand-new daily events designed to bring the festive spirit to life throughout the land.
The first new experience is called the Arendelle Carollers, a 15-minute musical performance led by Olaf and a full Christmas carol choir. According to the resort, the performance will culminate with Queen Anna and Queen Elsa making their entrance in holiday attire while songs from the animated short ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’, including “Ring in the Season” and “When We’re Together,” play throughout the village, with snow blanketing Arendelle at the peak of the moment.
The second new offering, titled “Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa,” will occur on Arendelle Bay. The two sisters, dressed in new winter outfits, will lead guests through the ceremony multiple times a day. While Disneyland Paris has not yet provided specific details about this performance, it is anticipated to become one of the land’s signature seasonal highlights.
In addition to the two main shows, the entire area will undergo a decorative transformation inspired by traditional Nordic craftsmanship. This includes new Christmas ornaments throughout the village, enhanced decorations adorning the colorful facades of Arendelle and its surrounding Scandinavian-inspired landscapes, and a Christmas tree illuminating the entrance to World of Frozen for the very first time.
Character encounters will also expand as part of the celebration, with Kristoff joining Anna, Elsa, and Olaf for meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the season. This expanded roster highlights Disneyland Paris’s commitment to making this inaugural Frozen Christmas a fully immersive experience rather than just a simple decor update.
The World of Frozen additions are part of the resort’s broader Disney Enchanted Christmas program, which continues its long-standing traditions across Disneyland Park, including the return of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade and the resort’s towering 24-meter Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. Both parks will also host their own dedicated New Year’s Eve celebrations on December 31, featuring character-led parties and nighttime shows to conclude the season.
With World of Frozen now fully integrated into the resort’s holiday lineup for the first time, this year’s Enchanted Christmas program promises to be one of the most expansive in Disneyland Paris’s history, offering fans an entirely new area of the resort to explore during the festive season.
