‘Baywatch’ Filming at Venice Beach with Noah Beck, Thaddeus LaGrone & Shay Mitchell
Filming for the highly anticipated reboot of ‘Baywatch’ is currently underway at Venice Beach, offering fans a glimpse of the cast in action. Recent production reports and set coverage reveal that several cast members were spotted filming scenes outside the lifeguard headquarters in California.
Among those seen on set were Noah Beck, Thaddeus LaGrone, and Shay Mitchell. They were captured leaving the lifeguard station while cameras documented the moment from inside the building, showcasing the actors in character during a bustling shoot day.
Other cast members present included Jessica Belkin, Ashley Moore, and Luke Eisner, who portrays the best friend of Noah Beck’s character in the series. This blend of returning and new faces contributes to the revamped ensemble for the reboot.
Just days prior, Noah Beck was filmed performing a water rescue scene where his character saves someone portrayed by Eric Roberts. This scene emphasizes the show’s focus on lifeguard action and ocean-based drama, which were central to the original series’ appeal.
The new iteration of ‘Baywatch’ is being developed by Fox, following an official series order for the 2026–2027 TV season. Produced by Fremantle and Fox Entertainment, the reboot features Lara Olsen as the showrunner.
Casting for the series has been gradually revealed, with additional names joining the project in recent months. Stephen Amell is set to portray an adult version of Hobie Buchannon, now the captain of the lifeguard team, while David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison from the original series.
Additional cast members include Hassie Harrison, Brooks Nader, and athletic influencer Livvy Dunne in a recurring role. Erika Eleniak will also return to reprise her role as Shauni McClain.
The reboot has received support from California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program, which has been instrumental in securing production in the state.
The combination of new influencers, returning characters, and classic ‘Baywatch’ style could either inject fresh energy or lean heavily on nostalgia, depending on how it’s executed. It will be intriguing to see how the show balances these elements. What are your thoughts on this reboot cast and direction? Share your opinions in the comments.
