The narrative centers around James Belmont, portrayed by Pitt, a former Army Special Forces soldier who finds himself in a dire situation following a plane crash in the isolated Alaskan wilderness. Stranded far from civilization, Belmont must depend on his training and instincts to survive. Accompanying him is his loyal companion, a retired combat dog named Odin, as they confront the harsh realities of their environment together.

According to Paramount’s official synopsis, “After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements. From acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer, ‘Heart of the Beast’ is an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.”

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the obstacles Belmont and Odin will encounter. From treacherous weather to the struggle for food and shelter, the film emphasizes survival in one of the most unforgiving environments on Earth. Additionally, it showcases the profound connection between the soldier and his dog as they rely on each other to endure.
