Disney Characters That Start With M: Iconic Names
Some of the biggest titans of the Disney universe have their names starting with ‘m’, so let’s have a look and find out who is who in this list of characters.
1. Lord MacGuffin (Brave)
Not one to wax lyrical, he is a courageous warrior who isn’t scared of a fight.
2. Machiavelli (Luca)
The pet cat of the Marcovaldo family, his keen sense of smell makes him realize that Luca and Alberto are sea monsters rather than humans.
3. Lord Macintosh (Brave)
With the distinctive blue war bodypaint, Lord Macintosh is hard to miss but he also misses the mark himself most of the time.
He leads Clan Macintosh, one of the four clans that have united to form the DunBroch kingdom
4. Mack (Cars)
A bright red 1985 Mack semi-hauler, he is the transport for Lightning McQueen and a loyal friend. He makes sure Lightning gets where he’s supposed to be going, driving all night to do so.
5. Mad Hatter (Alice in Wonderland)
Wearing an oversized green hat, he is often seen with March Hare.
He loves tea parties and unbirthdays, and is very hospitable and courteous to guests. As the Mad Hatter can be a bit unstable, he’s not the most popular inhabitant of Wonderland.
6. Maggie (Home on the Range)
A show cow, she gets transferred to Little Patch of Heaven. After the farm gets into financial difficulties, she hatches a plan to catch the cattle rustler Alameda Slim and claim the bounty.
7. Major (Cinderella)
Cinderella’s horse, he is a loyal friend although often gets taunted by Lucifer. Major ends up becoming the coachman for the royal carriage that carries Cinderella.
8. Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
An evil fairy (sometimes said to be a witch), she sends Princess Aurora into an eternal sleep until woken by a kiss by someone who truly loves her.
She appears in almost all black, often with her pet raven Diablo.
9. Manny (A Bug’s Life)
A green praying mantis with an upper class English accent, he is the magician of PT Flea’s circus.
His manners and etiquette are impeccable, and his act involving a Chinese takeout box is not exactly the pinnacle of magic.
10. March Hare (Alice in Wonderland)
Often seen with his large mallet, March Hard often appears in a red coat complemented with a bow tie and upright collar.
While it would be unfair to call him insane, he is definitely quite eccentric, loud and very energetic.
11. Maid Marian (Robin Hood)
The love interest of Robin Hood, she often appears in pink and purple. Having known Robin Hood since childhood, they were separated once she went to London.
She is very kind to children and is often seen together with Lady Kluck.
12. Marie (The Aristocats)
A white-furred kitten, her mother is Duchess and she takes after her strongly. This results in her coming across as aloof and prissy, but being a kitten she is also not against having the occasional play.
Often finding herself in dangerous situations, this is likely because she spends too much time daydreaming. She has a large pink bow around her neck and a smaller bow around a tuft of hair on her head.
13. Marlin (Finding Nemo)
Father of Nemo, he lives in an anemone on the Great Barrier Reef. Having lost his wife to a barracuda, he is very protective of Nemo.
14. Marshmallow (Frozen)
An enchanted snow-monster, he serves as a palace guard and eventually returns to the North Mountain with the Snowgies.
15. Mary (WALL-E)
Through WALL-E’s actions, she realizes the waste of her life aboard the Axiom and explores the ship, meeting John and falling in love.
16. Mary (Wreck-it Ralph)
Often seen in a bright purple ensemble, Mary is a Nicelander and loves baking for other fellow Nicelanders, even going so far as to remember everyone’s favorite flavors.
She prepares Felix’s pies, and also does his anniversary cake. Like the other Nicelanders, she really doesn’t like Ralph.

Father of Giulia, he is one of the first humans to meet Luca Paguro and Alberto Scorfano.
18. General Matthias (Frozen 2)
Having sworn an oath to protect Arendelle at all costs, he is King Runeard’s lieutenant and Prince Agnarr’s official guard. He was promoted from Lieutenant.
19. Maui (Moana)
A huge, tattooed demigod of South Pacific mythology, he uses his magical fish hook to smite enemies and protect mankind. He teams up with Moana to save the world from Te Kā.

An inventor and father of Belle, he is a humble and caring man who does everything he can to support his family.
21. Max (The Little Mermaid)
Prince Eric’s loyal Old English Sheepdog, his eyes are covered by a tuft of hair. His sense of smell helps him realize that Ariel is the one who saved Prince Eric.

Assistant to Yesss, he is a very slim and very blue netizen that works at BuzzzTube.
23. Madame Medusa (The Rescuers)
Running a pawn shop in New York City, she has bright red hair and often sports a red dress with green shell earrings. She is obsessed with diamonds.
She is ruthless and only makes acquaintances to get what she wants, soon after discarding someone if they serve no more useful purposes for her.

A no nonsense rhinoceros, he doesn’t take kindly to Judy’s addition to the force and is very dismissive of almost everyone.

Pocahontas’ pet raccoon, he is absolutely obsessed with food, following his nose to find his treats, including John Smith’s biscuits.

Although working for Hades, she did this reluctantly and upon meeting Hercules, realizes that there is more good in the world than she first thought.
27. Meilin Lee (Turning Red)
The main character and charming redhead, she can transform into a red panda. She is 13-years old and her transformations are often unintentional, generally brought on due to strong emotions.

Host of the Mel Dorado Show, he is a fast talking golden 1975 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.
29. Melpomene (Hercules)
One of the muses, Melpomene has a frowning face mask and tells of tragedies.
30. Princess Merida (Brave)
With a massive head of frizzy red hair, Merida is the daughter of Queen Elinor and King Fergus of the kingdom of DunBroch.

Taking on Arthur as a protege, he has an extremely long white beard but sometimes forgets what he’s doing.
32. Merryweather (Sleeping Beauty)
One of the three fairies alongside Flora, Fauna, they are present at Aurora’s christening, which partly leads to the curse being put on the princess.

George and Mary’s youngest child, he gets himself into trouble and is very emotionally sensitive.

An evil witch often decked out in purple and pink (including her hair), she is the rival to Merlin although she thinks is his superior in terms of magical ability.
Not having any qualms about using her magic for evil ends, she is arrogant and sadistic.
40. Mindy Parker (Bolt)
An executive who tracks ratings, she has a take no prisoner attitude that ends up causing Bolt to leave the set.
41. Ming Lee (Turning Red)
Mei Lee’s overprotective mother, she is often trying to spoil her daughter’s plans but doesn’t know about the desire to attend a music concert.
Her panda form is huge, and leaves a trail of destruction in its wake.
42. Milo Thatch (Atlantis)
An underappreciated and underestimated linguist and cartography expert, he is an orphan raised by his grandfather who leads the expedition to Atlantis.
43. Minnie Mouse (Steamboat Willie)
Inspired by the flapper girls of the early twentieth century, her large polka dot red bow and dress combination make her instantly recognizable.
In early appearances she was often the damsel in distress, but has come into her own and now often appears in solo performances or with Daisy Duck.

The odd one out of the family as she doesn’t have a magical gift or talent, she is still loved by her family and plays a vital role in protecting the magical imbuement of Encanto in a way only she can.
Despite her lack of magical talents, she makes up for it with a strong dedication to help those around her and keeps an open mind to the possibilities that surround her.
45. Mirage (The Incredibles)
Syndrome’s assistant, she is dedicated to wiping out the Supers, but realizes that this is the wrong path after being seen as useless by her former boss.
Once Syndrome threatens the life of children and mocks the death of Mr Incredible’s family, she thereafter turns to the good side.
She is very attractive and often appears in expensive clothing.
46. Miriam Mendelsohn (Turning Red)
Generally referred to as Mir, she is one of Mei’s best friends and is often seen sporting a fully green outfit.
While a bit of a tomboy, she also shows her feminine side when her friends need her help, especially Mei who is having a bit of an identity crisis due to her panda transformation abilities.
47. Mo Morrison (Lightyear)
A listless, directionless Space Ranger, he joins the Junior Zap Patrol hoping to find something to commit to.
However, he still lacks confidence and eventually considers quitting so that he won’t end up disappointing anyone.
48. Moana (Moana)
The daughter of Chief Tui and Sina, she is chosen by the ocean to help save the world, with more than a little help from Maui.
Full of confidence and very strong-willed, she makes sure the task is completed even when faced with overwhelming odds.
Officially the twelfth Disney princess, she shows the power of determination to overcome a lack of physical strength or magical power.
49. Mole (Ichabod and Mr Toad)
A great friend of Rat, Mr Badger and Mr Toad, he is often having to clean up after his friends, particularly Mr Toad.
50. Molly Davis (Toy Story 3)
Andy’s younger sister, she is just a baby in Toy Story but takes a larger role in Toy Story 3 at which point she is around 12.
She makes fun of Andy for still having his toys, and ends up donating her own toys as she is more interested in magazines and hanging out with friends. Technically Mrs Potato Head and Bo Peep are her toys, but Andy likes to play with them more.
51. Molt (A Bug’s Life)
A large grasshopper who is Hopper’s brother, he has not much going on upstairs and seems to have got to his self-proclaimed position as ‘vice president’ of the gang via nepotism.
He plays a vital role in the story as he lets the ants know that Hopper is afraid of birds, which ends up being the vehicle through which the ants gain freedom.
52. Monstro (Pinocchio)
A gigantic blue sperm whale, he is feared by sailors as he’s known to eat men for fun. He also has a mean streak that no man can stand up to.
When Geppetto takes Figaro and Cleo to find Pinocchio on Pleasure Island, they are all swallowed whole along with the boat by Monstro. Not done there, he also swallows Pinocchio after he comes looking for Geppetto.
This turns out to be his weakness, as once Geppetto and Pinocchio escape and Monstro wishes to exact revenge on them, he kills himself on a cliff trying to catch the pair.
53. Moonwind (Soul)
Having both a human and soul form, Moonwind appears as a blond hippie-like character working in a hardware store or similar, and in soul form he appears much the same but blue.
54. Mowgli (The Jungle Book)
Sometimes referred to as the man-cub, he is a young orphan mainly seen sporting a red loincloth with a black mop of hair.
Raised by a pack of wolves, he is hunted by a murderous tiger and so seeks refuge among humans, but eventually forms a duo with a bear called Baloo.
55. Mor’du (Brave)
An evil enchanted bear standing at an imposing 13 feet tall, he was once a human prince and King Fergus’ nemesis.
His body is pockmarked with scars and injuries as a result of all the battles, and is referred to as a demon bear or Moby Dick on land by his creators.
He was cursed to become a bear due to approaching a witch to gain the power to take over the kingdom, only to become too much like the bear and murder his own family, leading to the downfall of the kindom.
56. Morkupine Porcupine (Chicken Little)
A stylish porcupine with spines sticking out from his head in a hairstyle bigger than him, he’s often sporting a pair of sunglasses and is monosyllabic.
He doesn’t seem overly fazed by the invasion of aliens to Oakey Oaks.
57. Morph (Treasure Planet)
Basically a floating blob of mischief, he is a shapeshifter from Porteus I and gets rescued by John Silver and becomes his pet.
58. Mufasa (The Lion King)
King of Pride Rock, he gets killed by Scar and Scar blames his death on Simba, causing him to flee.
59. Mushu (Mulan)
A tiny and lithe red dragon in the oriental style, he looks after Fa Mulan.
60. Mustafa (Ratatouille)
A waiter who likes to overindulge in food, he doesn’t deal well with complaining customers.
